RE Loan-centre.net
please check with your bank because the payment came out mine as a 'continuous authority'......your bank cannot stop or cancel this payment method......you cannot stop or get a new debit card or if you open a new bank account with the same bank the continuous authority will transfer because it was processed by a lending company.....they can get money out of your account at any time....as advised by my bank, Barclays0 -
Nothing worked for you rox87 NOTHING!!
You threw a tantrum like a petulant child filling emails with obscenities.
The end result of your abusive whining was to be pointed at the Terms and Conditions.
You say you came on here for advice, let me remind you of your advice
I would NOT call that advice. There are more than enough people around here who try to help..... you aren't one of them.
Telling people to make threats via email is going to achieve nothing, like it did in your case.
Wasn't it a bit self defeatist to report my last post to abuse, but quote the thread??:T:T
Report away.
yes it did work for me! don't dare to presume you know anything about my situation! arrogant much?!
I had to make endless phone calls and several emails to be told about those terms and conditions for getting a refund..it is not on their website's t&c page anywhere, so how about you do your research huh? look yourself, go to loan-centre.net and click terms and conditions at the bottom of the page.
NOWHERE on that page does it tell you how to get a refund. it took all my phonecalls and emails to get it done.
it HAS worked for me, end of. you don't like my advice then that's fine, no one is forcing you to read it let alone take it.. but you know where you can stick yours.
..and for the last time, I'm not clicking 'abuse' over and over, someone is obviously monitoring the thread genius.Saving hard for Australia 2012

Here you go, posted WEEKS before your silly petulant ranting. If you had bothered reading up instead if whining, YOU TOO would have found the answers.!!

The links go elsewhere now, more than likely due to my post earlier such is the publicity this site attracts.
Even though the links now go elsewhere, all the info was/is correct.0 -

I never claimed they weren't elsewhere on the internet, did I?!?! You're the one who's been lording it saying all we need to do is read their website's t&c's, when actually their online t&c's don't tell you how to get a refund at all. you were wrong. not that you'd ever admit that or apologize I'm sure.
there was no whining at all, actually. I had to ring them again and again, and send them several emails. the ones I posted were the only ones I got a response to, and it was only me threatening to report them to several agencies that got me the info I needed from them.
simple as that, that's what worked for me. why you feel the need to be an absolute !!!!! about it is still beyond me.Saving hard for Australia 2012

Hey,
I also fell for the same trap! Got a text saying I had entered my overdraft, looked and bang £47.50 had been taken.
Right, so after numerous emails and numerous computer generated responses back, I finally got a human response informing me that I could claim a refund 14 days after accepting the terms and conditions, however its taken me that long to actually get the forms from them. I sent them off today (along with the self adressed & stampd envelove they ask for, cheeky Fu***rs) apparently they don't receive the money for 30 days, so it's another waiting game as to whether the cheque actually arrives, and then if it clears.
If anyone would like the address and form to complete, message me or put your email below and i'll forward it to you.0 -
I have also been done by this scam only yesterday, How in short do i get my money back, I have emailed them threatening legal, obmudsman etc but they are not playing ball, can anyone help.

Hi,
my boyfriend also fell victim to this scam. Basically e mail the help address stating you wish to cancel your subscription, they will then send out a refund request form. They say that they will refund the money 30 days after receiving it. I posted it this week so now its just a waiting game.
Hope this helps

Hi all.
I was also underhandedly charged £61.50 for becoming a "member" of thier site. If you continuously E-Mail them with complaints and tell them you are reporting them to the FSA and Trading standards they will eventually give you a link that lets you print out a "refund request form".
Send it off with a stamped addressed envelope and you will get your money back. I also sent this letter with it just to be a bit more demanding! Ha ha!

Dear Sirs,
Re: Account Of Mr ..........
Please refund me my fee £61.50 and CANCEL my Subscription within the 14 days cooling off period.
You are not allowed to hold my money once I have asked for a refund and legally under the consumer credit act section 155; you are able to keep £5.00.
(1) The excess over £5 of a fee or commission for his services charged by a credit-broker to an individual to whom this subsection applies shall cease to be payable or, as the case may be, shall be recoverable by the individual if the introduction does not result in his entering into a relevant agreement within the six months following the introduction (disregarding any agreement which is cancelled under section 69(1) or becomes subject to section 69(2)).
Failure to refund me will leave me no choice but to contact the FSA Consumer direct and the OFT.
Yours sincerely,
Tel:
Hopefully we can all get our money back and they will cease to act in this manner!
P.S. I contacted the FSA and Trading Standards anyway!!!! :rotfl:0 -

Ironically the very same address I stated in the second page of this wittering thread. Imagine that!!
Why do you advise sending dozens of emails like some of the others insist on doing??
Is there any reason you know of which prevents simply writing the silly letter in the first place??0 -

The reason I have said to send multiple E-Mails is because the first three responses I recieved were quite clearly automated! It was not until I sent the fourth E-Mail that I was given the link to download a refund form. The Loan Centre stated that they would NOT process any refund request without the appropriate form. I have posted an article on here to show people how to deal with this company and NOT to explain myself to you!
I am pleased you know how to deal with this situation but I felt that people still required information at how to handle this issue. All I have done was to tell people how to obtain the form they require, I really dont understand why you have chosen to pull me up on this article!0
