hi there can i have there address please???Thanks for the info.
Based on their email reply which gave me their Customer Service address I've already written to them so that they can refund my money to me (minus the £5).
Let's see how long it takes. Did it take the 30 days to get your money back?0 -

I'll have a quick go for you. No more than 3 minutes will I spend on this..

Now look for Terms and conditions
Here you go
Read this bit, I have already copied the best bit hereServices
We provide a variety of services by phone, internet, mail and other means through a membership programme. In return for these services, You agree to pay a fee at inception which incorporates a Joining Fee plus the first month’s membership at £9. You agree to Us charging £9 per month thereafter until such time as You choose to cancel your membership, providing Us not less than seven days written notice of Your intention to cancel.
Now lets see if I can scroll the page all the way to the bottom to find an address..... oh! here we go.

Very sorry for not getting back to you, i have been in hospital. In answer to your question no i haven't had any luck getting this money back. I have emailed them three times asking for their cancellation and refund policy and have received computer generated responses on two occasions, then on the last an email on all the benefits on being a member. The email address's i have used are cancellation@loan-centre.net, info@loan-centre.net and help@loan-centre.net.
Leanne - Apples has quoted from the T&C's above.
It clearly states the cancellation must be done IN WRITING.
This does not mean an email. Write it/type it/ print it - Put it in an envelope and send it RECORDED to the address in Apples post above.
Stop wasting time with emails and phone calls.
From reading his thread, it seems trying to help people is an uphill task.

Hi,
I stupidly entered my details into Loan Centre thinking they were just another MoneySuperMarket...not realising they we're brokers etc. At no point did they advise that any monies would be taken from my account...if I'd known I would nver have signed up to it!! It turns out the info regarding memberships were in the T&C's etc...I didn't even realise I was creating a membership.
So I have now had £67 taken from my account by a company called Cornwall Collections who are in connection with Loan Centre. I have sent them a stinking email to say I will be disputing this with my bank...I did call my bank to record it as Fraud but they can't do anything apart from point me in the direction of their disputes line.
Anyone know how I can claw this money back??....I only tried to apply for a short term loan as I was in the process of moving and required a small amount to bridge the gap...instead I have now been stung by these cowards..they obvioulsy know that if it was clear in the process of signing up with these guys that they charged then no one would use it. It is deliberately hidden, preying on people who need a loan fast and then creating the loop of being in debt..how on earth do they get away with it??? Surely there must be some regulations out there that prevent companies doing this??
I need advice asap?!
The only company I have come across who are legitimate and don't hide their charges are 'Wonga' who are purely for short-term loans.

Hi Lona, the main difference between these shysters and their ilk and MSM is that MSM do not ask for your bank account details.
These people must have a wallet so big you could beat whales to death with it.
I'm sorry babe but I am amazed that people will pay these vermin money they probably can't afford to get into more debt."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0 -
This is the thing...I'm usually very cautious etc and I would be the first to say well that was daft...all I need to know though is whether not it is possible to get your money back.
I think when you get onto these things you end up fillin gin endless details and by the time you get to your bank account details you kind of forget you haven't actually been offered a loan!
I still think, as a lot of people are continuously scammed by hidden detail, there should be some sort of regulation in place to dis-allow charges being hidden in the background. Yes I know it's stupid but when you're desperate, you're desperate, otherwise I wouldn't have used the thing in the first place.
Besides, I'm pretty sure when I filled out my details it went via another site and then ended up on Loan Centre.
Anyhow......anyone claimed back their money succesfully from this company?
Thanks0 -
I sent emails to this company as i wanted to hear it from the horses mouth not from someone on here who has nothing better to do than b**ch!!!!!.
.
Okay, my last post on here...
Lianne, FORGET the emails, they are being deleted as soon as they arrive. Stop wasting time with them.
Same for phone calls, forget it, they will simply ignore you.
The Terms and Conditions CLEARLY state you must put it in writing.
Follow the advice, Write it and post it recorded delivery.
If you refuse to follow the very instructions they are giving you, is it any wonder you are getting nowhere??0 -
CHRI5 is right, of course. E-mails are quick and easy to send and cost nothing, but these people clearly require a letter sent snail mail. I agree with him that everything should be sent Recorded Delivery, which is again a bore, but it leaves a trail that they cannot deny in the future. It will be quicker in the end if you do what they ask you.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0
