It's not one rule for one and another for someone else, we have done this more or less to death KK provides care for her husband and by all accounts it's 24/7.

It is though! She's (and ONW) are saying that those on DLA should have to prove that we do use our money forthe intended purpose, but those on AA shouldn't have to. Why? And how does she know that many people on here don't already have people coming in and caring for them?

How do you know I don't use my DLA for care?

    Again Sweeping Statments Abound.

I don't - nobody knows. Hopefully that won't be the case for much longer.

like they have time or the resources to go through everyones receipts.get real!!

As somoeone who usually spends (with the expection of phone bill and money to parents) small amounts often, it's going to get ridiculous. Do they really need to know that I spent 49p on nappy sacks? No they don't.

This is going to be far too expensive to do. How on earth do I get receipts if I give my parents money? And how do I get receipts when I just have a direct debit for when my phone bill comes out? I don't recieve paper statements for it.

Why do you get DLA to pay your phone bill? you can always ask for a paper statement you know.

Because I have an adapted phone. I can't read the paper bills either.

I would wager people do use DLA for their Care and Mobility needs on the whole.

For example the Mobility/Motorbility Car is clearly the money being spent on Mobility needs.

I do spend my care component on care but I don't want to reveal what my problem is and shouldnt feel obliged to.

Whether it is true or not I am unsure but I read on a forum that some of the ATOS medical staff are actually doctors that have been struck off.

That would be even more scandal to use at a Tribunal

For those DLA haters - would you like it if your GP was a doctor that had been "struck off"??

The conspiracy theories abound on here. you and cit-k need to get together. I guarantee it will be a match made in heaven:rotfl:

Perhaps her phone is an essential item for keeping sh1305 safe and in contact for safety??

If this is the case then s/he has every right to use DLA care for this item.
