Something which KK clearly has problems with...

And quite rightly so! Why should someone we given money to provide care and then not use it for that purpose? At the present it's allowed but it's totally ridiculous. Hopefully this will be one of the major things that are changed.

But why is it acceptable for KK to do that but not the rest of us? It shouldn't be one rule fo those on AA and another for those of us on DLA.

How do you know I don't use my DLA for care?

No-one can really prove or disprove whether they're getting the services they say they need.

Hopefully receipts will be asked for, just as they are when people claim tax credits for childcare.

think you forget that there are two components to dla.
    1 care
    2 mobility
not everyone gets hrm and hrc,it varies to each individuals needs.

It's not one rule for one and another for someone else, we have done this more or less to death KK provides care for her husband and by all accounts it's 24/7.

This is going to be far too expensive to do. How on earth do I get receipts if I give my parents money? And how do I get receipts when I just have a direct debit for when my phone bill comes out? I don't recieve paper statements for it.
How do you know I don't use my DLA for care?

Exactly. No-one knows whether you (or anyone) do or not.

But KK provides care for her husband so he gets the care he needs. She could go through the direct payments system if she wanted to put everybody through all that hassle and extra costs. This way is cheaper and achieves the same end.

And is it really any of their business?

    The Governement Website says:

"You do not need to be receiving the care only that a need exists".
