DLA fraud check

Can't see anyone slagging off DLA, just fraudlent claims. personally I think the Tories
are going the right way re medicals.
I have absolutley no objection to any DWP medicals providing the "medic" I see isn't
(A) A tinpot nurse that "thinks" they know what is wrong with you.
(B) A "Jack Of All Trades" quack who has no specialist qualification of my condition.
If I do attend a medical I will first ask:
(1) What is your GMC Registration Number
(2) What specialist training have you had in my condition
(3) How long have you practiced in the specialism of my condition
If I gain a "no" at 2 & 3 I will say "do you think you are really experienced to judge my needs in light of your admissions"?
And if it is some tinpot nurse I will say "go fetch the doctor darling and wash the bedpans. Also I'd love a cuppa and don't forget a couple of Garibaldis. Chop, Chop"0 -
The majority of the DLA form is tick boxes and questions like "how many times a day", for "how many minutes a day". Certainly not traumatic imho.
Some people have a very odd idea of what 'traumatic' means.
To me a traumatic experience would be one that completely overwhelms someone and is far beyond that person's ability to cope with it.
Think we would be hard pressed to describe completing a DLA form like that.0 -

Guarantee you fall at the first hurdle then:rotfl:0 -

i have no doubt that the GP knew what dyslexia and dyspraxia are. She presumably put on your report what she had observed i.e that you had no problem with gait or co-ordination0 -

Nope - the negative answers at 1 & 2 should prove extremely useful at any Appeal Tribunal as would the lack of a GMC number.
They accuse claimants of fraud but surely using poorly qualified medical staff is also fraud. Professional fraud.
I am sure no one would go to an accountant with a dental problem.0 -

Unfortunately perhaps for you it is the DWP who hold the cards, decide who does the medicals and also decide whether you are getting any money.0 -
