Same would go for me- If no parent and child spots are free - i wouldnt hesitate in using a disbaled bay so i have room to the kids out without denting anyones car.

I just hope that one day that yourself or your children never actually have a disability because I wouldn't wish that on anyone... If it did happen though and you needed a disabled space but couldn't get one because of the tool's who've parked in them because they can't get a precious P&C spot, then you might look at things differently.

  • i chose to have a child....so what?

If a parking spot is identified as a parent and child spot, then why cant i use it

These spaces are provided as a courtesy not backed up by legislation like disabled spaces are, yet you seem to think the fact you chose to have a child gives you "rights". It ain't necessarily so.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

yes but my original post didnt say that did it.....

I said when there were disabled bays available in abundance. I dont have a problem with disabled poeple using P&C bays if thats all thtas left

Do you not think that there is a perhaps a very good reason why they would choose to use a specific P&C space instead of a disabled bay? Maybe it is more suitable to their needs. Or do you honestly think they do it out of sheer bloodymindedness?

If they are closer to the store and or on a safer route then the disabled person is going to take that spot aren't they. It is not easy going around on crutches and even being in a wheelchair is not as easy as you would think.

TO advise..... the disabled spots in most carparks in my area have disabled at the front.
