Why do you think your usual line rental should be included?0 -

You might like to put down that spade you got there digging that mighty bill hole. Half of your £106 call charges is £53, so TMobile offering to knock off £50 was pretty much there. Since you've been such an idiot in this thread, I am really glad the offer was retracted. Your sense of entitlement is astounding and you deserve to pay the whole amount.0 -

You say 50% off the extra call charges. I say 50% off the bill. Any need calling me an idiot for that?0 -

And this is relevant how?
Halifax did the same and they wrote it off did they not?
Many companies have made mistakes and cost them money- Apple are going to pay for free bumpers for iPhones for example.0 -

Seriously? Want me to draw you a diagram?0 -

Well you need to take out your £15 line rental because that amount was never in the equation. That means you're left with £106 of call charges, and TMobile meeting you halfway is £53. You turned down an offer of £50, and now you've got £106 of call charges to pay for. You *were* an idiot for turning down the £50 offer.0 -

Yes because your £15 line rental is not in dispute!0 -
OK, so I was a bit sympathetic to the OP at one stage but I'm seriously losing interest now.
I still think the tariff is not especially fair, in that it would appear that phone companies benefit substantially from people making innocent mistakes, but moaning about it for 6 pages is not the answer. Get back on the phone and grovel for a discount, any discount. Point out that they previously offered £50 which was more than generous. Pay whatever they ask you to pay. Write them a letter if it makes you feel better. But stop complaining about the injustice of it, because it's really not that much of an injustice I'm afraid. (And picking pointless arguments about 50% of £121 vs 50% of £106 is nitpicking and starting to look vaguely trollish to me).0
