OK I have had a pretty stressful week at work and on Thursday I slipped up again (a small bar of dairy milk this time)

BUT today in Woolworths I was very good and walked out the shop empty handed after going straight to the chocolate section and walking about for 10 minutes. :)

So in a week I have slipped up twice. I'm on holiday as of next week for 2 weeks with chocoholic OH so will see how I get on with him around munching on Galaxy!

Ok I am going to join this, have already eaten 3 choc chip cookies today but starting from now on it's NO Choccy for me. I seem to be craving it something chronic this week - I adore Green and Blacks Maya Gold - out of the cupboard and not from the fridge (yuk!)
Not sure how I will cope, my OH is a choc fiend too - worse than me in fact.
    Wish me luck!

  • Forgive me for I have sinned............well it's not that bad really-was doing fine until yesterday when DD came back from yet another party (September is costing me a fortune )and the chocolate was bulging out of the party bag and she offered me a Cadburys Caramel mini bar (only 2 bits) and I couldn't refuse.

Back on the wagon this week, good luck everyone

  • oh God, how I wish I had read your post before eating 2 x milky ways! I don't even like milky ways, they were just sitting there in the office fridge along with a packet of chocolate hobnobs.

I am a terrible terrible chocolate eater, and would love to sign up for this. But can I start tomorrow???????!!!!!:A
  • 7 actual (although not consecutive) days without chocolate; despiste huge temptation. I'm living at my Mum's in order to get debt free and as an interim solution until I find a job in Yorkshire and can move in with my friends. She keeps offerring me biscuits and cake!

I'm resisting but I did succumb to a tiny slice of spinach pizza! She uses the 'if you don't eat it I will and you'll be responsible for making me fat and won't you feel guilty then' argument.

I took her on a 75km cycle ride at the weekend as punishment. :rotfl:

  • After posting the last, I realised why I was posting. I need help, I'm off to Scotland for the weekend with a large group of friends, we usually quaff much wine and eat many bags of chocolates, particulary; revels, maltesers and minstrels.

How do I resist the "You deserve a weekend off" and the "you're on holiday"!!
I've got 7 weeks until my brother's wedding and I don't want to be a fat bloater. My friends have been brilliantly supportive over the money situation and we are all weekending on a budget, but I don't know if they can cope with another one of my 'phases'. :rotfl:

Any coping strategies would be most welcome.

  • OK so far this week, watched the Diet Doctors on telly about a woman addicted to chocolate and what it can do to you -very scary:eek: so I'm now going to be very strict with myself and see if I can get rid of the dark circles under my eyes and recurring pimples on my face, itchy scalp and lack of sleep all because of chocolate.

Sorry to go on -maybe I was the only one affected by the programme??
