  • Pasta with passata, chopped sausages or chicken breast with grated cheese. My DD loves this and I sneak in sweetcorn and peas as well. She had something similar at TGI Friday's so thinks she's getting a *posh* meal, bless.
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

Salad, but not a posh sort, we normally have salad things in, so Tinned Mackeral / Tuna (I don't like Tuna but OH does), some cheese, lettuce, celery, cucumber, Toms, Oatcakes with seasoned Mayo to dip.

Pasta mixed with tuna and pesto - so easy, and so tasty (it's also one of the few things my boyfriend can cook lol so if I'm out late, that's we we get for dinner!)

Cous cous (ready flavoured stuff for 50p a pack) is really easy to make and quite healthy. We have it with salad and some grilled meat/fish. whole thing takes about ten minutes and you feel like you have had a decent healthy meal especially if it's fresh Tuna!

I will go for the unusual I think. I am a veggie and i buy tins of mock duck meat from a Chinese Superstore so I fry that in a pan and then grab the hoisin sauce and slice some cucumber and take the pancakes out of the freezer and a fab meal ready in 5 mins!
