The ultimate pork sarnie:
Chiabatta roll, spread with hot stuffing (sage and onion packet stuff mixed with boiling water), warm pease pudding (buy ready made and warm in micro), top that with hot roast belly pork from the hot counter at Morrisons, add a little of the crackling, top with apple sauce, and dip the top of the roll in some hot gravy (Use granules) before placing it on top of everything else. Have lots of kitchen towels to hand cos' it's very very messy - but yum!0 -

I'm glad there are so many connoisseurs on here who love my favourite....fried egg on toast. It's also the first thing DH asks for after he's been ill and feels up to eating again!
Next favourite is tomatoes on toast. Just slice up some tomatoes, cook them for a few mins with pepper and salt in a bit of cheap olive oil to soften and pile on top of toast. Paradise. Tinned toms are OK too but tend to make the toast a bit mushy.0 -
Curried beans
Chop an onion and fry it with a tsp of curry paste. When soft add a tn of baked beans. Serve on toast or even nice with some rice. It is delicious!
Glad to see no one has yet resorted to pot noodles :rotfl: Anyone want to confess?? lol:rotfl:0 -
