That's great news! You can always renew your vows in a castle and have a party then!
The wedding is the important thing!

This is what we are thinking, perhaps on our 5 year anniversary as we will have been together for 10 years then. By then I will be working full time and will have double the income we do now. All our debts will be paid of by then too.
We just don't want to wait that long to get married. Neither of us can wait for us to be a 'proper' family.

Better get practicing my new signature... how do you make a three lettered surname look interesting and signature-ish lol?

I'm really pleased to hear you are feeling much more upbeat about it all and that you have had some great offers from people!

Try looking on the websites for places like next to get a sizing guide for suits. OH shrank his suit earlier this year and we had to get it replaced urgently Matalan was the only place that was open and it's a really nice suit, he's worn it quite a few times since.

Are you still having something to eat at yours afterwards?

No we aren't. It is just too much hassle and we had so much to do. Our house isn't very big and we were going to get a big gazebo with sides but they are from £100 and it is too much at the moment.

Someone has suggested we go out for a meal and invited others to come along too if they want - but pay for theirselves. There is a Two for One 5 minutes from the RO and it has a soft play too which would be great for our LO to let of some steam!
I feel a bit cheeky asking people to pay for their own but it is either that or nothing at all. I am going to talk to OH when he gets in tonight and call people tomorrow to let them know. It is only close family who are invited so hopefully they will be understand.

I'm glad you've worked things out, and from your latest post you sound happier about things.

There was a bride on 4 weddings recently who made her guests pay for their meal at the local pub, no-one seemed to mind & if it's 241 where you're thinking of going I'm sure your guests wouldn't mind either! Surely they will want to share the day with you no matter what!

I hope you get sorted with a suit, there are some really good suit offers on the matalan site at the moment. Found this sizing guide on the next site http://help.next.co.uk/Section.aspx?ItemId=10480 xx

Hi, what shoe size are you? I have some new champagne coloured shoes with sparklie bits on in size 3 if that's any help? The are a sling back open toe stileto style. I can take a pic if you'd like.

Also do you want some of those sparklie bits on springs that you put in your hair? they are an easy way to jazz up your hair. They are used but look new.

can't think of anything else off the top of my head but if you posted a dream wish list of what you've still got left to get we could see what we can do for you to help you get the perfect day you deserve.

    xx

Esp seeing as you arent asking for gifts, the money they would have given you for a gift they can spend on their meal! True friends wont mind.

FG, dawnebabe's guide is a good one, there is also this video that might help

    Measuring for a suit

I totally agree with everyone else, if friends and family want to be there, they will pay for their own food!:)

Only just seen this but I'm in Sheffield and if I can help at all give me a shout! Do post a list of things you still need, I get married three days after you but I am sure I have extras of plenty of things!
