Well yesterday went like a dream, not. Ended up having to borrow £20 so i could pick the numpty (OH) up form Guisborough, only to find out the car hadn't been fixed, classic. So £7 in bus fares for nothing. Left the shopping at his mothers, arghhh But we got fed, the food was so nice hmmmmmmmmmm Luckily i got his wallet back, not that he deserves it.
We then came back and had a massive argument, along the lines of i do have never supported him, never do anything for him, have done nothing with my life. Its my fault we have no money because i didn't finish my degree. In the end he threatened to leave with the boys. My response good luck with that, here you go (handed him pile of appointments, meetings, bills etc) first jobs, get them done. Get a childminder who will be here form 6am till 9pm. Who will get your lazy !!! out of bed, sort your taxes, get your lunch sorted.
Let's just say he went pale at the sight of it all. We haven't apologised to each other, i just said i will not tolerate being called worse than carp, if you don't like it, you know where the door is. I will not have this shouting as i can't take it anymore and neither can the kids.
So things have simmered down, but i'm well annoyed with him. Today he got without being shouted at and made me a cuppa, shockingly. Stress is getting to us now, so i've decided its going to be film night tomorrow, going make HM popcorn, jelly and ice cream, hmmmm sugary
well thats my rant, and breathe,
Better go and get sorted x0 -
I'm a vaseline intensive care girl, twice a day. Its fairly cheap and last ages as you need so little. I am at that age where I think I might need something better but is that because the tv tells me to?:( Talking of TV, I have 2 gripes at the moment. Adverts for mascara (really, can they keep improving it? I dont think so) and laso that dettol no touch handwash. Why oh why:mad:
Looks like Autumn is definitely here, I've stripped my cherry tomatoes and the runners are finished.Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -

I love Honesty rich moisture cream with carrot and jojoba - it's unscented, and really moisturises well. It may seem a bit expensive, but it lasts for ages, and is also available in smaller pots:

Annie - hope you have a lovely day out - sounds great and I wish I was coming with you instead of going to work for 11 hours:D
Kezlou - you sound in need of a (((hug))) x x x
DS1 visited yesterday - he's still doing his trial at the radio station - expenses only to start with, his partner lost one of his 2 jobs and they have no money at all - had to lend them petrol money again. They've moved back to his partners fathers house to save on rent money. I hate seeing my son so skint, we're not loaded but in comparison we are as we have food in the cupboard and the bills are all paid. I always feed them well when they visit and offer food to take home. Hopefully the radio job will pan out and there is the chance of more work for his partner soon.
DS2 is thankfully doing well at his new job and he's got his first real girl friend too:)
We've rebudgeted and are starting the new one tomorrow(payday)
I'm taking the food money out weekly in cash and that will be all we can spend - when its gone its gone and we have to manage.
better get some breakfast now before work xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
I love your posts ladies, they keep me going through the day. You come across as lovely individuals. Have a good day today y'all. In the middle of difficulty lies oppurtunity0

I love ashbourne! I lived near it for years, love leek too. thinking about there is a blast from the past. have a lovely day there!
I often go to Leek as i only live about 7 miles away from there. The great thing about places like Ashbourne, Buxton, Leek etc is that they are more affluent areas which means they have some really posh stuff in their charity shops :jGrocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

Kezlou, don't tolerate being spoken to like that. Things may have been different for me since i was physically abused as well as emotionally and psychologically abused by my ex....but i put up with being called the *hit on my husbands shoes (and worse) for too many years...our (then) 4 year old (at the time i left him) used to tell me to 'F off' as he heard his Dad tell me to 'F off' all the time. The children were emotionally/psychologically abused also, you can never underestimate the 'damage' that they will suffer or the fact that they soak this behaviour up as 'normality'.
Big massive hugs to you (((hugs)))Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200
