If anyone has had their posting messed up it may have been me! No idea what happened but when I went to the next page (a couple of pages back) the screen went really wide so I had to scroll across toread it. Then I got a pop up saying something like if everyone agreed to the spam I had reported being deleted they would do it, and thank you for reporting it. WHAT!!!! I don't know what I did but I have apparently reported spam, eeeeekk!!!!! Anyway, sorry if I have messed up. I should not be allowed near technology, I really should not!!
Trying to finish reading so I can reply and send good vibes out to all.
But Flowertots - damn!! Been there darling! Post more later.0 -

Gailey, sorry you're not having a good day. Maybe a little teaparty with four year old will make it feel more special. Baby wont know any different so it is just to make the day special for the rest of you. Hope you feel better later. Hope you enjoy the rest of the day.Second purse £101/100

Well the little darling got through the night ok. (I'm knackered though:)) Been to Vet's this morning. He's happy with him, gave him more antibiotics and pain killer. To go back on Monday. I was dreaming about the bill last night (when I actually slept) figures of £500 and £1000 kept drifting through my head. But so far is only £116 -and Vet's very amenable to making a payment arrangement. Think he's just pleased at the way he's progressing. He's a very nice vet.:money:
Flower - pleased that you've taken such positive action so quickly. It took me ages to get the confidence to go out again after the after the aforementioned B##### screamed at me that time.
Have just enjoyed a lunch of toast with my wonderful Home made Lemon Curd spread all over.
Am going to try and have a bit of a sleep soon, then I need to make Lemon curd muffins, apple muffins. Large Yorkshire Puddings for tea(ended up going to the chippy last night - never mind). Then make a list of what I need for the apple and tomato chutney and tomato ketchup. I can hopefully get started on them tomorrow.
TTFNThe problem with common sense is its not very common:rotfl:
How do you climb Mount Everest? One step at a time0 -
Flower - good news about the new group, onwards and upwards!
Hellsbells - good news about the mog, I know I would be upset if anything happened to my puddy tat ( I call him that because he is a right soppy old tart)
Gailey - at one year old your littleun won't know the difference between a birthday and an ordinary day. Just get a couple of little gifts for her(?) to open and have a nice tea party with family. Remember other people will probably get something for her as well. Plenty of time for the full birthday party business when she's older. And the same goes for that event near the end of the year that starts with C....time spent as a family is what they remember. One life - your life - live it!0 -
Ooooooh we have had yorkshire pud for the last 2 nights with leftover SC chicken and veg... didn't bother with potatoes as I made such a large yorkshire that it would have been too much
Can I share a tip I got from a chef a few years ago.... Add an extra egg to the usual mix of 4oz plain flour, half pint milk, one egg. It makes a huge difference... I also melt a knob of real butter into the mix and rest it for whilst the oven gets to 240!!0 -
Oh, and my kids have asked for it again tonight LOL!! But we are having lamb hotpot which they helped to make instead0

Right, I've finally got to the end, what a marathon!
Gailey, Please don't stress about little ones birthday, at a year old the only things she is interested in is being fed, being dry and having plenty of cuddles. Babies are not aware of prestigious presents and labels! I am so sorry you feel ill, my daughter is just pregnant and is having a really bad time with sickness. And yes, fridge and freezer, I had to go round to hers last weekend and clear and clean the fridge for her as she could *smell* it from the sitting room (it smelt of nothing by hte way!!) Still I scrubbed it out with some bicarb in warm water and it seems to have worked for her! And on the upside for me, I got to bring home a load of food that was coming up to date as she could not face cooking it! Poor girl, I do feel for her because I was really bad when pregnant wth her older sister. She is getting a bit worried as she is not eating much at all, if she manages to keep half a slice of toast down she is lucky, and then the midwife was banging on at her to make sure she eats something green every day. She replied she would be happy to eat ANYTHING and keep it down!
Flowertotsmum, nothing more I can add. I was lucky enough to be a SAHM when my girls were young. I went to a company *do* with my husband and was asked by one of his female collegues what I did for a living so told her I was raising my children. She LITERALLY turned her back on me and started to talk to someone more interesting! I did not have the confidence then that I do now, and was so upset, I could not even eat the meal. My husband was furious when I finally told him and I had to stop him from making a fuss. I finally realised that she was the one with the problem but unfortunately, it did destroy any confidence that I did have. Please, please don't let that happen to you.
Annie52(?) OMG, you have made me laugh out loud you minx!! Well done!
Best sign of as my lunch break is over. I will catchup again tomorrow. In the mean time, hugs and cuddles to anyone who needs them, congrats to everyone due them and as for the rest of us, keep on in there.

I'm glad your cat is ok. He does sound like a nice, understanding vet. The bills are such a worry aren't they?
I've just had my annual statement from the Student Loans Company. My student loan has gone up another 80-odd quid and now stands at just over 13000. This is because I am not earning enough to pay anything towards it so it is just sitting there getting bigger and bigger  I have other debts I must clear first - because they are costing me more...Skint but happy with my lovely family
Hypnotherapy rocks :j0 -
hellsbells I'm glad your kitty is OK and that you have a good vet
gailey I know when my mum was pregnant with me she was so sick all day until very late in the evening when she ate a large yorkshire pudding with onion gravy just to get some stodge and substance down before the sickness started again the next day!
Mmm all I want now is a massive Yorkshire pud! Maybe at the weekend.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member #398 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts :T
