    you are doing superbly hon!!!! you're lighter than me!!! gulp gosh oops!! a bit of a slower 7.8 tonight, in 1 hour 20 minutes... Just under 10 1/2 minute mileing..must get quicker than that!!! still rather chuffed to have got around though! thanks for the boots to get out there. xx

    I wouldn't worry about the speed of it, P (which was excellent, in any event).....just concentrate on getting the miles under your feet. The speed will just happen later.

    Well done on your run Pania....the speeds will get faster the more and longer you run..but you know that! Its taken me 2 years of continious running to get from 11-12 mins miles down to just under 9 min miles...

    and today in not so happy news, pania has an ouchy knee.. pooh pooh and pooh!! it was going so well!! will drop the distance back and go for shorter faster runs for a few days and ice it when i get in from work. I AM NOT going to have problems with it again!!! NOT NOT NOT!!! **stamps foot like petulant child!**

    welldone sparkles on getting out there and thanks sally and hypno for the encouragement! hypno pack your running kit for next week!! ;) and marru, yes relax.. it will come, your body will tell you when you are pushing it and when you are ready to progress. xx

    problem is lurkio as soon as i do anything i aggravate it!! wonder if they will make couch potatoing an olympic sport anytime soon!! think we are heading down the surgery route if it doesnt go away... :( I feel an ice bath coming on!! yuk!! :rotfl:

    If you MUST run, P.....and why would you EVER listen to ANYTHING I say.......do not worry about going fast!!!!! Just trundle along, enjoy the air, and don't put yourself under any more stress!

    Speed doesn't matter......reducing the risk of damage does!
