Hi thanks for support just had my first call from Vanquis saying havnt paid enough now shaking kept calm told them to ring CCCS with ref no.

I know it will be hard as Im not use to all this, I hope my hubby will come on bored I expect he is feeling a bit helpless as well coz he cant help me at the moment.

I hope in a few months I will start to feel better thanks for the encouragemnt:j

Thank you to Jcorbygas for the words of encouragement and to you Jackie for showing me that others are in the same boat. (I want to cry but I'm in work!) You have both inspired me to do my online remedy with CCCS and to speak to my OH - now for the big step and to go through with it all!!

I won't hijack your thread any further Jackie but I will start my own. I will keep up with how you are getting on.

ElliesEleven - just take a deep breath and start the debt remedy - I know at the moment your head just feels so muddled but once you have got CCCS on your side and actually sorted out all the figures its amazing how much room you have left in your head for all the important things in life - like living!! being nice to OH, taking a walk without worrying about next phone call etc etc.

Has anyone had experience with Barclaycard? I hear that they harras you a lot Im worried because this is my biggest debt and concerned that they wont accept the offer from CCCS?

Hi

I had a few teething problems with Barclaycard but managed to get them on board after I contacted their MD. If they refuse to accept your DMP drop me a pm and I will give you the email address that I used to get them on board

Not much to report from my side, got the stuff from CCCS and now in the process of getting everything together

Hi Ellie

Same here just waiting now to get confirmation from cccs that they have written to everyone. Not too stressed just feel really tired work in a school so ready for the break now.

Hope you are feeling ok had a long chat to a friend of mine who also is going through this process she is a bit further on than us, keeps getting lots of hassle from lloyds luckily they are not on my list. She is feeling better about things though it helped to talk to her.

Hope that you are o.k. and still feeling positive:)

I've calmed down a bit now and I am trying to see this as a good thing (it might not seem that way now but I keep telling myself that in a couple of months I will be glad that I've done it)
