well - i have got one of these in oct and 2 months now, i can say this is an absolute bargain. we are really enjoying having this tele at home.
also i did find a 32 inch technosonic lcd hd ready tv in my local tesco for £450 - it was different to this one as it did not have the speakers to the side, but did look good.
hope that helps someone as with clubcard points, it should work out to be a good enough deal

not anymore i have platinum card

    Not quite.

Barclaycard stopped extended warranty sometime ago.

However if u have Barclays Connect Platinum then you can still get extended warranty. This now will only be available as a benefit until the end of this month.

I phoned up Barclays Extended Warranty team and I now have a further 2 years warranty, so my tele has got 3 yrs warranty now. Not bad.

So for anyone who wants to buy any household items and u have barclays connect platinum, u got till the end of this month to take advantage,

wait for the catalogue 399.99 will be a bargain
when i left the army i worked for TMTI (talk me through it) and i am good friends with Bernie the head of woolworths CS and would like to say is that any one that wanted to by anything electrical from wollies is mad.

we (TMTI/WOOLIES) had a Tecnosonic LCD TVs that started burning in standby(internally setting on fire) and over 10,000 were reported before we were aloude to do a re-call and not only burning we found that even the ones that worked we found that they were not HD despite being told they were and having the relevant input, ask anyone that tryed connecting a PS3 we were told to give them a fobb off saying that it was the PS3 that was not compatible with the tv as the tv was out first, its simply that the TV is not HD 1080i and they the replaced it with the Techwood same problems and same excuses started again.

Woolworths will not exchange these items they will send out a repair man and all he will do is send you a recon set. THe same happens with all electrical itemes over £50.

The moral of the story is-

would you trust a binman to make you breakfast in a cafe
    NO!!!!
then why would you trust a sweet shop to sell you a TV or laptop

trust me guys CDs and sweets are fine but avoide the TVs laptops free view DVDs etc as wollies want you to phone "TMTI" woolies tec support to test the item before you are even aloude to bring it back to store and they will fob you off for as long as they can, if you dont get a return they wont get there numbers and its numbers that keep there jobs.

i have now rejoined the army as my first look at civi life was this place, i chose to go back to afgan as the people were nicer.

if you have any issues with woolies returns (TMTI will be the ones to caus this) ask for the woolworths CS number and ask for bernie (0870 3337111) shse is a good girl but you will need to get heatd a little to get what you want) if she askes how you got her name say it was me "ben higgens" she should be ok with you then

    good luck all
