To be honest I would be very suprised if the woolies tele was 8ms, I cant understand how it is practically impossible to get a full list of specs for this TV??
Hi
Having spent a thousand hours reading the thread on AV forum about the WW tele http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=394834&page=139 I believe that (based on the expert opinions of those on the AV Forum and some clearly do know what they are on about there) it is pretty much definate that the WW tele is the re-badged Thomson 32LB125B5
here is a link ot the full spec of this model http://tv.thomson-europe.com/en/Products/Thomson/32LB125B5#tabAnchor
..you'll see here they suggest that reponse rate (grey to grey) is 8ms0 -
Went to woolies today to have a look.
The black model is a stinker isn't it? Couldn't imagine having something that looked like that in my living room.

Yuck.
Looks aside, it gets rave reviews, and was on sale for £999 earlier this year when badged as a Thomson.
It isn't that bad is it?0 -
That rez would indicate a native rez of 720p so it would scale down 1080i and 1080p, the fact that it accepts a 1080p signal is fantastic anyway, people with 360's say that having it on 1080p improves colour. Bring on hd dvd!!!!
It does take 1080p however when i did this from my 360, every minute or so i got a weird bubble like line across the screen going from bottom to top... but 1080i works perfectly.0 -

I understand the picture is decent but it looks really cheap, I mean really cheap.
Can't comment on the silver one but there is no way I would have the black one.No links in signatures please.0 -
Hi all,
Got me WW Techno all set up and well chuffed with it.
The picture from Sky+ is very clear and the colours are noticibly more vivid than the old Tosh 28" CRT.
There is some grainyness evident in some types of scene, but I suspect thats the tv 'upscaling' the standard picture.
Does anyone have a Sky HD box setup and does the Sky HD box output HD level resolutions (ie native resolution of panel) whether or not a HD channel is being displayed?
I suspect that getting the best out of this TV will be to get Sky HD.
FYI my Sky+ remote operates the TV with code 0653.
Also, now have an Xbox 360, but the highest output option I get is 1080i, some people have said they have set theirs to 1080p, but I dont even get this option?
