danmed wrote:the only specs i have are from teh manual but are as follows:
Technosonic LCD3251 HD Ready 32" LCD TV
Size : 32"
1366x768 Resolution (hmm does that make it 720i??)
HDMI
HD Component
Nicam stereo sound
component in
VGA in and PC sound in
(the manual is rubbish.. seems a generic one for all the technosonics)
No PIP as far as i can see
That rez would indicate a native rez of 720p so it would scale down 1080i and 1080p, the fact that it accepts a 1080p signal is fantastic anyway, people with 360's say that having it on 1080p improves colour. Bring on hd dvd!!!!0 -
The Aldi TV could well be this one: http://www.avforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1782853&postcount=904
...which doesn't sound too good to me.
Thanks for the responses about the contrast ratio and PiP; helped me choose my new TV0 -

Hi
Can anyone tell me what the response rate is for the woolies technosonic i.e 16ms or 8ms????? i can find in the threads lots of other info but nothing about the response rate?
many thanks for your help0 -
shoperholicnot wrote:Sorry to say that this is because it has a 16ms refresh rate, for a great pic with fast moving images it should be at lease less than 12
I clearly thought that the technosonic woolies 32 inch Tele was a 8ms tele. This is mentioned several times in the forum as well. Can someone check and let me know.0 -

I think I have got confused myself! Apologies, My mistake. i got the 16ms from the first page but i think it was for the acer! so dont know if it 16ms.
To be honest I would be very suprised if the woolies tele was 8ms, I cant understand how it is practically impossible to get a full list of specs for this TV??0 -
