Note though, its not a true HD player as it just upscales SD sources.

For those people still hoping to get one of these - myy local store is taking names and phone numbers and, so they say, when the new stock is lodged on their system they will phone everyone on the list and you can order there and then - oh and pay by CC at the same time.

What about those of us that have already ordered and were given indicative collection dates last week only not to get them?

Woolies are not replying to my emails either

Just saw one in the flesh in my local tesco.

    Two quick questions:

    1) Can I peel the TECHNOSONIC sticker off the front panel? Whats underneath?

    2) Do I have to pay a deposit to book a reservation?

    TY!

I peeled the label off the tv and there is nothing behind it, just black tv :) as far as our local store goes there was no deposit scheme, just leave your details and they will phone when stock arrived.

we managed to get the last tv from dartmouth,it was a display model and had been up behind the desk for 48 hours so we grabbed it.

got to say it is a great set and hd samples off the net look amazing!!

pc works brillant on it and so we are pleased as we have a nice big tv at the bottom of our bed :)

Some people have found nothing and some people have found Thomson lurking behind the sticker. depends how much you want to risk it really. I don't find it intrudes on the viewing plus if you take it off and can't put it back on/lose it I wonder what hapens with returns !

I'll definitely be peeling TECHNOSONIC off the front (leave it on the back for warranty), it makes the Thomson set look like a cheapo job which, well it is but really isnt :)

so deposit amount to reserve it? anyone know :)
