Woolworths 32" LCD NOW to be £399.99 from Saturday (merged)

I called into Maidstone today. Display model only.

They did say that they had some earlier in the week though.

How come I ordered at 9.30 Saturday and am told they are out of stock?

Has anybody that ordered online actually got one?

i ordered on the friday, went to the shop on saturday and found that they were in stock, but they said they could not give me one, as i had ordered on internet and that was another stock.
So now have two tv's, using one, willing to give other away.

After 5 days my order has finally changed to processing!
Lets hope it doesnt revert back to awaiting security check.hehe.

Its dearer at £449 but it is higher spec as its twin tuner with picture-in-picture so you can flick during the adverts and see if the film is starting in a corner window, or monitor a baby or security camera without missing your program. TJHughes recently had some £399 32" LCD TV's of similiar spec to the Woolies one and I ~thought~ I saw some still in recently. People don't tend to look for major electricals in this store. (very cheap PAYG mobiles in this store too)

out of stock, doesent look as good as the black Tech,also has £20 delivery charge so £70 more. Not worth the extra in my view, wait for the technosonic to be restocked or try aria,

Don't count your chickens, mine changed to processing 3 days ago.

Woolworths must have the worst on-line shopping system I have ever used. I given up trying to contact them via the messaging system just keep getting the same responses, telling me that they are waiting my response to the security check mail. However i did that 3 days ago and have had confirmation that they recieved it.

I got the text message today saying it was not gonna be ready for collection until the 25th of october. I also sent a message to woolworths and they replied with the same answer. Why didnt they prioritised by time of order?

Why do I have to go through all this security BS?, i've never had to go through all this rubbish with any other retailer online and i've placed orders for products double the price of this before without a single security problem in years of ordering. This isn't my first order from Woolies yet they still wanted confirmation of my address etc, i've come across some stupid online ordering processes in my time but none like this and having to email them some basic details any conman trying to use your card could easily get is completely pointless.

You gotta love this part of the email they send:-

Bloody idiots.
