Im still awaiting security check and i ordered at 8pm on Sunday.
I guess we are all panicing a little becuase we dont want to miss out on such a bargain.Also i think our main concern is that we dont get stitched up by some online catastrophy or queue jumped by instore purchasers.
But i have never heard of a security online check nevermind one that takes so long.I presume that we all have one tv put aside in the order database and if the security check fails then those will be sent to stores.0 -
I have just received an email from Woolworths asking me to reply/email (to customer.support@woolworths.co.uk) them with my:
- card holder name
- card holder address
- the name of the bank that issued the card
Has anyone else received one of these? I presume its because I used my GE Money Credit Card - which may be an issuer they have not dealt with before.

Got mine today in Southampton Branch. (One more left there) It is really lovely. My OH is very impressed. Store manager said that the ones they have now are black, but they are hoping to get silver ones as well with the next delivery from "wherever". They have almost sold all of their 25,000 original consignment, as a company.0

Although I ordered in store and collected last Saturday, I too had the inconvenience of online security checks with the credit card. So much so that my card (fraud dept) cancelled my order because of the way woolworths tried to charge the card ! I'm not saying this is what has happened but might be worth checking with your card to see if they have tried to charge the card and it has been put on hold.
it could also mean that your order is in process but they aren't going any further until they have enough stock in ! Good luck - it's a great tv for the money.0 -

is that the city centre branch, had you already ordered it or was it off the shelf. I tried yesterday but they had none0 -

It seems a lot of people are ordering this item my mom works in woolworths and said that people keep asking about it so they have to order them and theres a waiting list
The tv is in the big red book what should be out this week so the price should stay the same.They only have the black one where she works though and she wants a silver oneNumber 4 due 21st jan0
