Woolworths 32" LCD NOW to be £399.99 from Saturday (merged)

I ordered at 9.30 on Saturday and got an indication saying that I could collect it Thursday. My order shows: Back Order or Pre-Release. Does that mean I won't get it yet?

Hi,

Just walked in the Beckton Branch of Woolies and bought a Tech LCD3201 off the shelf.
Can anyone confirm this TV is in fact Vesa standard, and what is the Weight, as I cant find this info anywhere.

Im at a loss to understand why Wall mounts are advertised according to size as opposed to weight? If I buy a bracket designed for LCD`s of the Technosonic weight, can I use it irrespective of size?

PS: Any reccomendations for brackets? Woolies have the BTECH BT7522 tilt at £39.99 anyone used it?

I placed my order at 9:38am on saturday for collect instore (Huddersfield), payed with my credit card although nothing has been charged to my card as yet. It took till tuesday to pass the security checks then the status has changed to Back Order or Pre-Release (If your item is a new-release, we will aim to despatch it in time to reach you on the day of release. Otherwise, this item is on order with our supplier and should be with you on or before the date listed at the time you placed the order. PLEASE NOTE: Our lead times are guidelines only, and ARE NOT guaranteed delivery dates). When i placed the order, the due date was the Thursday October 5th 2006 and this hasnt changed. What are the chances i will get to collect it today?

Are you sure about this measurement Dogmanstar? 60cm? I thought VESA standard was 75x75mm/100x200mm/100x100mm?

Can anyone clarify?

Its not Vesa standard - but if you get those universal brackets it should work - I got a LCD stand from Argos in the end for a heavy price of £150 but it suits it and does the job (Click Here

My order now says processing, after changing from yesterdays "awaiting security checks". Fingers crossed, because I want the Black one.

Hi All

Just an update for you all. I went in store on Saturday afternoon, paid cash, including the wife's staff discount. Just had a call from the wife to say it's arrived on their delivery today!!!

Can't wait to get home tonight and play around with it. I've seen a stand in Argos that matches our coffee table, link below, anyone have a clue if this will be big enough for my new set?

If you receive the credit/debit card secuirty confirmation email, reply with the required information, it is legit.

The info I have is that we originally placed an order of 5000 to see us through to christmas but due to overwhelming demand we sold out in the first weekend.

We now have another 5000 on order, which have all been presold and should be on there way to our DC between this weekend and next, so if you ordered it last week then it should be on that shipment.

Aparently there is another 25,000 on order, can't confirm whether they are black or silver though. These will probably start to be presold as soon as they are available. The chances that these will be sent out to stores for sale is slim, they'll probably be held in the DC and sent out specifically when ordered.

If it's available on the website then it'll be available to order instore, as the instore ordering sytem is basically just a link through the website.
