    I still don't understand why people are taking the image they see instore as the best it will be when they get it home. I agree with an earlier poster that every store not just woolworths should try their very best to get the best possible picture on a tv set, I have no doubt that poor connections to this tv have resulted in a lot of people walking away and not bothering.

    The tv image I saw wasn't the best but I am so pleased I took the chance on it when I did. I played Lord Of The Rings on it last night to test it and I was absolutely amazed at the quality. Using good connections SD even looks great for me and I haven't even tried HD yet!

    Of all the posts I've seen I can't remember seeing too many negative ones from people who have the tv at home and not watching instore. As I've said before we are all different and we all have different levels of expectations but I for one am extremely happy with my purchase.

    This item has billed successfully and is ready for despatch within the next 24 - 48 hours (usually the same working day as the item is billed).

    I ordered at 8pm 1st October.They rang me up to confirm my details last night and then today i checked my order and that is what it says.
    So im presuming it will be here before the weekend seeing as i have been billed already.

    Had your order been saying "Processing" before they called you. I ordered mine on Saturday 30th Sept at 6pm. I did send back a reply to a security e-mail they sent me at the beginning of last week and had a confirmation of them recieving this, but since then..NOTHING

    It said processing and i had to email them details and then they asked for my phone number-landline.Once they had rang it said passed security checks.
  • Well I've been following this thread for a while just as an interest but then our TV broke last week and having looked around this certainly seems the best deal. Only problem is... I can't order it on line or even buy it from the local store (won't sell the display model either). Even if I could get it... I'm not sure I can wait forever to replace the TV that broke down.

    Why not try ringing around a couple of local stores and ask them if they'll accept you on the waiting list if you pop in to order ? The other thing you could try, there's a similar thread on avforums and a guy called Dav3 (I think) posts and he works in Edinburgh Woolworths ! You never know he might be able to advise/worth a shot if you really want to get it.
