Do they deliver on Sundays? If not then i guess i have to wait until monday.
I wonder where the main warehouse is...saying that though it only takes a few hours to get here if its down south. If it comes tomorrow it will be exactly 3weeks in total.....hehe0 -
I saw it today in Harrow, plugged into dvd via scart, I wasnt that impressed really. It looked a bit jaggedy even from a distance (the end credits were playing, the words showed up quite poorly as they scrolled up the screen).I think there are better deals out there at the moment (ie the phillips 32 lcd at argos is very good quality from what I have seen and is only £699 WITH a 3 year warranty), I was very tempter to get this, but I think if you are SD I would avoid and it looks like lcds are coming down alot after Xmas and when the PS3 comes out...I have no actual proof that they will be coming down, but it is a fact. (ie if you know what you are doing you can get a 26 inch samsung lcd with free delivery for only £485, so smaller screen, but much better quality, pip etc. I am thinking of getting this or the phillips, if i get one in next day or 2 I will pass on how to get the sammy.)Aint nuthin goin on but the rent0

Well i emailed woolies becuase i have had the money taken out of my account and this is my reply
Good Afternoon, Thank you for your email. I can confirm that the stock has been allocated to your order and the items are just about to be despatched in the next few days. The delivery will take a maximum of 7 working days from the point of dispatch.
So if you are waiting for yours after having the money taken out then its looking good for this week........Hooooooorah...hehe0 -
Well, I emailed them yesterday asking if 2nd October 2007 was the true delivery date. Here's the reply:
"Thank you for your e-mail. I apologise that the system has automatically calculated this date and it is not accurate. The item is currently out of stock and we do not have a due date for when the stock will return. When your order is despatched you should receive an e-mail to advise. Kind regards."
So i'm still none the wiserThis space is available to rent...0 -
No offence taken jacos, I was thinking about getting the technosonic and have been following this thread for ages, I was pointing out that from what I saw it isnt worth the money. The two other tvs I think represent better value, why pay £400 for something thats poor/ok when you can get a (hopefully) much better quality tv with a 3 year warranty for £700. I think this post is ok on this thread as its an opinion on the tv from someone who was on the verge of getting one. Love.Aint nuthin goin on but the rent0

I plugged my PC into it and it loogs great. The resolution is only 4:3 though. Do I need a new graphics card to get 16:9?0

I bet the aforementioned Samsung hooked up the woolies way would look the same as the Thomson. The fact is the Thomson is a damned fine piece of kit clearly shown by buyers within this thread and over at AV Forums - and spending £200-£300 extra for an apparently superior LCD isnt necessary. No TV is perfect.0

If there's one in store and I have one on order with my quidco £20 discount, I loose the discount If I cancel my online order and pick one up from the store, yes? (which is damn annoying...)It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0
