I plugged my PC into it and it loogs great. The resolution is only 4:3 though. Do I need a new graphics card to get 16:9?
You need to check whether your current graphics card can't support the resolution that this TV needs. I'd spend a bit of time on this before rushing out to buy a new graphics card.

Check this !!!!..........my order said it was awaiting depatch, they have billed me,then they said it will be with me within 7 days and now they go and pull a stunt like this...........
    Order Status-Back order-pre release
If your item is a new-release, we will aim to despatch it in time to reach you on the day of release. Otherwise, this item is on order with our supplier and should be with you on or before the date listed at the time you placed the order. PLEASE NOTE: Our lead times are guidelines only, and ARE NOT guaranteed delivery dates.

Im pretty shure this is illegal and the fact that they billed me on the 11th.I am seriously thinking of taking legal advice if my tv does not appear by thursday.......has anybody any good tips to what legal action i may be entitled to.Of course if my tv arrives then i will be happy as Larry, but the fact they have billed me is very very annoying.
  • Well I am still undecided what tv to go for, personally I think I will wait, but have just seen a bargain Toshiba on https://www.digitaldirect.co.uk BUT I also have a link for the WHAT magazines review of what appears to be the technosonic (rebadged Thomson) here... https://www.homecinemachoice.com/cgi-bin/outputpdf.php?file=WP/013/024_WP_013.pdf

Well that link is a review of the Thomson 32LB220B4U and not the 32LB125B5 which is what people think this TV actually is.

Even though its not the same model, if you check homecinemachoice for Thomson LCD reviews, out of 20 LCD's a large majority of them (12) get 5 stars and virtually all the rest are 4 or 4.5 stars

can i just ask why people have had them delivered to the store.. surly if you can afford nearly £400 for a telly a extra fiver to get it deliverd to your door would be easier.. me ive ordered from woolies loads of times and anything big or bulky i get deliverd to my house anything smaller that im comfortable to carry i get delivered to the store?? just thought it might be easier than humphing it out the store to the car?
Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.

Quite easy really. A lot of people work during the day/week and can't either take a day off just to wait in for a delivery. The TV's aren't that big or heavy to collect and most stores have back door pick ups and will help with putting the tv set in the car.

It was much easier for me to collect in my lunchtime or on the weekend than take a full day off. Certainly wasn't to save £5.

Well i just been told that stock is arriving the end of the month. That is ridiculous to bill me on the 11th and say i have stock allocated and its being despatched and then to say they have no stock until end of the month. What a joke.If this wasnt such a good tv i would be cancelling and writing to watchdog about this sham of a sales service!!!!!
