    This was on avforums.....think the poster was gunslinger?

    'She informed me they had recieved an email from head office this morning explaining there is a new batch just about to be delivered - and all of those on pre-order will have their Tv's despatched to them over the next few working days.

    In short - everyone that has ordered one should recieve theirs by end of the week latest.

    Woolworths words, not mine.'
    I wouldnt get my hopes up.

    And for those who have recently been billed...............i was billed on the 11th and still nothing so i am very very interested to hear if you get yours within 7 days.

    Don't believe anything the WW site says & certainly pay no heed to Customer Services, whom I'm pretty sure never read the messages properly anyway
    I ordered 1st Oct like many others was given a delivery date of 25 Oct.
    This was then changed to 16 Nov... not 'appy I message WW CS again... apparently my order was delayed by the "security checks" which took 5 days!

    Very un'appy I message WW CS yet again only to be told that no firm date could be given.

    Yesterday sane as Wee, got the "billed" message, checked my CC issuer who confirmed £399.99 had been debited against my card.
    Then the order reverted back to "back order".
    C**P!!

    Messaged again this mo, after usual stock answers got the reply
    Hi, I apologise but I was unaware that you have been billed. The Tv's will be coming back into stock in around 2 weeks. Kind regards Gemma Mullins

    Messaged them again asking why money had been taken so early..
    got this reply
    Hi, I can confirm that the reason you have been billed is due to that when the TV's come back into stock we will be able to send you the Tv out straight away without causing anymore delays. Kind regards Gemma Mullins Woolworths MCR Adviser

    Looks like all we can do is sit & wait!! But wot a farce eh?:rotfl:

    Its a total joke.........mine has gone from billed and ready for despatch to back order and now back to billed and ready for despatch........im gonna check my bank becuase to me that sounds like ive been billed twice and that would just be typical of this running joke that is woolworhs.!!!

    'Hi, thank you for your message, on checking your order status, it shows this item is currently on back order status which means it is currently out of stock, unfortunately I do not have a current despatch date on this item.     They have charged me on the 11th..............this is ridiculous.

    I Orded Mine On The 1st October In Store The Bloke Said It Be There On The 20th So Rang Up Asked If It Had Been Delived And They Said No Not Yet It Should Be In The 25th

    went to woolies today and find out the status on my TV, all they could tell me was it isnt ready until the 25th, try again then. one other colleague said it wont be able until november? lets hope he meant if i order now we would get it in nov. they reely dun have a clue about what is going on i think.

    ok lets keep our finger crosssed.
  • My payment was taken today and it says ready for despatch. It appears that they are on target to deliver my tele to the local Wollies shop this week.

    This item has billed successfully and is ready for despatch within the next 24 - 48 hours (usually the same working day as the item is billed).
