can i just ask why people have had them delivered to the store.. surly if you can afford nearly £400 for a telly a extra fiver to get it deliverd to your door would be easier.. me ive ordered from woolies loads of times and anything big or bulky i get deliverd to my house anything smaller that im comfortable to carry i get delivered to the store?? just thought it might be easier than humphing it out the store to the car?

its not £5 but £20 to your house

It's an additional £20 delivery charge so that would make it £25!.

Sue me for slander woolies but im afraid this just sounds like a load of lies to me

'Hi, thank you for your email. I can confirm that we billed you for this order as the supplier had confirmed there was a unit available for you, however, when this was ready to be despatched, we then realised that this was not fit for purpose and did not send this to you. Unfortunately, we are unable to retract the payment when this happens so that is why we have placed your order onto back order. Please accept our sincere apologies on this matter.'
What a load of old tosh.

Has anyone else who has had the money taken out had any problems lie this?
And as they told me they have 28 days in which to get an item delivered once payment has been taken so they better make true on that otherwise its time to goto court for some compensation!!!!!!!

Well, I emailed them yesterday asking if 2nd October 2007 was the true delivery date. Here's the reply:

"Thank you for your e-mail. I apologise that the system has automatically calculated this date and it is not accurate. The item is currently out of stock and we do not have a due date for when the stock will return. When your order is despatched you should receive an e-mail to advise. Kind regards."

So i'm still none the wiser

Sorry for quoting my own post, but is anyone who is in the same situation as me heard anything about a delivery date?

Well, mine was ordered via internet but for shop collection on 1/10/06 @ 3.00pm.

This is the message I had today.

"Hi, Thank you for your message. I am extremely sorry for the confusion regarding this matter. Please accept our sincere apologies. I can confirm that we are expecting the delivery of this item on the 25/10/06, unfortunately I can only offer the expected date and not a guaranteed date. Kind regards, Naddia Khatun MCR Adviser "

    So - who knows!
