  • Although it is clear you are innocent and that you will be cleared fully I cannot imagine how stressful it is for you as I feel guilty just when a police car is driving behind me and I am doing nothing wrong

I just want it all over and done with so I can get on with my life again :o I'm also quite looking forward to giving evidence so I can find out what on earth its all about and what really has happened as I only know bits that the police said. I've no idea what its about or whether he has done it, but its not looking good for him (or her) tbh, not that I care about that, I just care about getting my name cleared and the effect this will all have on ds :o:o

if you're giving evidence doesn't that mean you only get to be there for your bit? surely the fact he's not given you extra (just an assumption) will make it obvious that you are an innocent party in it all?

It has been pretty yucky KM, having to explain to school why I wouldn't be in to work and then the fingerprints, dna sample, mug shots and the 2 hours in a cell were purely hideous :o:o

  • Oh Benben that is truely horrendous I really feel for you, no innocent person should have to go through that. It would be more stress but I wish you could sue him for putting you through all that, you are so careful and above board with money it makes it all the worse!! I hope you have some people in 'real life' you can off load to about this because its not healthy to cope alone with something so emotionally draining/scarey for you.

I know DS may be affected but thank goodness he has you because you are so amazing with him it obvious through your diary x

It's always hard having to pick up the pieces of other peoples mess, (and this sounds like a big, serious mess:eek:) especially in a parent/child relationship. BUT you are completely innocent and totally the better person, you are also a strong lady who always puts her son first so although I know this can be far from easy we all know you and DS will come through the other side. Hugs again x

I'd want to do something really horrible to him for putting you through that:eek:. I'm sure we could all think of something:rotfl:.

Seriously though, that's shocking you have my total sympathy.

SS the problem is one month he overpaid me by quite a lot ... I phoned him immediately and asked !!!!!!?? and he said it was a mistake by the cashier and gave me his bank details to send it back, which I did, keeping just my normal amount .... and this is why I was arrested on suspicion of money laundering   (Basically the original amount didnt come from his account unbeknown to me, and then he gave me his bank details and I sent it back to his account, so it looks as though I've passed it on for him ) ....

Solicitor says he's fairly sure the police know I've got nothing to do with it but it is such a horrible feeling to have this hanging over you :o Just wish he'd leave us in peace and let us get on with our own life, 5 years on and he still controls my life

oh dear, can see why you're sort of caught up in it now but it would be different if you were together, I'm sure they can tell there's no love lost on your side! I'm sure your solicitor is right but I don't imagine you will be able to relax over it all until it's all finished. and also I'm assuming then he'll have no job so there will be no maintenance at all...
