I successfully recliamed from A&L But im still awaiting refund.

My paperwork states 2 weeks, I sent form back on the 26.6.10 but as of now I still havent had refund.

I called today and the lady said there was a backlog but she will try and get it done asap, I need the refund now! Is there anything I can do?

Really, its so annoying isn't it , surely if they say 2 weeks then they should mean 2!

i am in a similar position i called them yesterday they confirmed the cheque had been posted on the 8th by business post and advised me it could be 5-7 days

To be fair i think the FOS need to tighten the ropes with PPI payout response times

It seems highly unfair that not only have they deprived you of your money for x,y,z, amount of years but when they agree to pay you back you have to wait forever to recieve the refund.

Natwest say they will pay within 28 days - But if i owed them money would they grace me with the same time frame ? I highly doubt it

They all need a kick up the a$$ and to take responsibility in paying the money out that was not there's to take in the first place

but i agree that the banks would not give as much time especially without charges maybe i should charge them £29 then £6 per day after 1 week of waiting

I just called Natwest and blew a gasket - They told me they are refunding today and to allow a few hours for it to become available

We shall see
