In time when people are more educated to bring their own bags there won't be but considering both Tesco and Asda have kinda shelved their no bag/less bag policies proves there is an onus on them providing bags as part of their service.

In time? Is it nice back in 2005?

Firstly there is nothing wrong with working in a supermarket, get of your high horse
At no point did i say there was anything wrong with it.
What i said was the OP comes across in their starting post, that just whines for the sake of it, and if the job is that bad, do something else.
Places like the low end supermarkets tend to have a high proportion of the lower end of society shopping in them. As this is the case, in turn, most of the workers there are from similar surroundings.
It's a factual observation that no-one understood (especially qetu1357). In fact, if it was a pictorial explanation in the form of 'Peter & Jane' books, i doubt they would've understood.
I now have a very good job with the potential to climb the ladder a lot further and you know what I will always play games with people like you who look down at other because they think they are more important.
Sorry but what games. All i am reading is you and one or two others flaming and swearing. Your game isn't going well is it, seeing as how all you do is stamp your feet and swear.
I am looking down on no-one. I am pointing something out and touched a nerve.
Congratulations on your 'very good job'......How is McDonalds btw :D

Just like it's Tesco, not Tescos, that winds me up a bit :)
All the more tragic that something so trivial could play on your mind.
Is Jeremy Kyle not on this afternoon then?

Well that is now two posts of yours i have read that have zero substance and are completely pointless.
Surely even someone like you can do better than swear, as swearing is a sign of low intellect and vocabulary.....though i wouldn't count on it.

All the arrogance and presumptiveness isn't casting you in a particularly auspicious light...

I've never worked in a supermarket, but laughing at 'stupid' customers gets me through. And being super sweet to them winds them up a treat when you refuse to rise to their bait, lol.

I work for a bank and we once had a customer shouting all over the branch that he was going to report us to 'Dogwatch' because we wouldn't give him a loan. We think he meant Watchdog, but who knows!
I also had a woman yell at me the other day that she was going to the 'Omnibus' rather than the Ombudsman.

Sometimes I go home and have fantasies about slapping one of them round the chops.
Are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I don't go to Tesco much. We get the majority of our food delivered by Ocado but on the odd occasion I do go to Mr Ts I always take cash and use the self service checkouts now.

I love that I can take my time and pack stuff carefully in the bags just the way I want it - you don't want to be behind me when I'm using the self service ones! :rotfl:

I don't want a real person to scan my food any more. They rush and practically throw your stuff to you.

Woody01 I really enjoyed reading your posts on this thread.

I like it when someone posts a contrary opinion to the majority of posters in a thread. During the school holidays I do it quite a lot myself - sometimes to stir things up a bit and sometimes because I really do believe what I'm saying. Haven't got time normally.

Good on ya - keep 'em coming!

    And your point?
The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
