Morning campers, I'm wide awake and sitting here
I've just been pottering around the living room and kitchen, trying not to make too much noise as DH is still asleep upstairs - oh wait I just heard movement. Looks like he is getting up, wait for the shouts when he has his shower and the washing machine takes the water..lol
Had a lovely time yesterday at the Kent County Show, although I am paying for it today. Still nothing a few painkillers and some energy tablets can't sort out, and taking it easy. Although I do want to make a banana bread as the bananas are now a nice ripe colour, just right for cooking with
Treated myself to some lovely pink enamel bits for the kitchen - a laundry box and a housekeepers box to keep all my bits and bobs in for cleaning i.e. microfibre cloths, stardrops mix spray, bin liners etc.. DH also bought me a lovely wicker shopping basket that I had my eye on at another stall, although this one is nicer as it has a lovely antique lacy lining and looks gorgeous. Just right to take to the Farmers Market or grocers when needed. Not sure it is right for taking to Asda though..lol Also I seemed to have stocked up on loads of cheese for some reason, well you can never have enough cheese and they were on special offer too. I was so pleased too that my favourite onion makers (Opies) were at the show so I stocked up on pickled onion in balsamic vinegar as they were too at a special show price. And while I was at it we bought some venison sausages from a local man, and also picked up our favourite Jimmys Sausages. Lastly I got a blueberry jam, some lemon curd that I needed to make a cake with, and some nettle and ginger jelly from one of my other favourite stalls.
We joked that I only go to these shows to stock up on my favourite bits..lol. I even got called a show stalker by my enamel stall..well I do go and hunt them down at every show we go to..lol
I also came away with a rather red chest - I was covered up everywhere else but for my neckline on my top and I am now a bit red. Still smothered that in cream last night and this morning so hopefully nothing will come of it..
Today I intend to take it quiet, although we are hoping to pop to Aldi so I can stock up on their Oxyclean - can't beat it and I haven't found another one that beats it. But they only sell it now and again so you have to get it while you can..lol
Grateful I never offered my congratulations earlier, how remiss off meMany congratulations honey, will keep my fingers and toes crossed everything smoothly
Boddy how did your festival go? Did the rain hold off for you?
Vanilla how's DS2 doing now, is he feeling better?
SkintGypsy well done for getting on top of cleaning your bathroom. As others have said it will get so much easier as time goes on. But don't get disheartened if you feel that you are forever cleaning at the moment as that too gets easier, after a while 15 mins is really all you need at one time
LW how are you feeling this weekend honey?
Welcome back Thifty I wondered where you had disappeared off to :rotfl:
Lilo sorry you got a diagnosis of CFS/Fibro, but at least it's a relief that it isn't MS. I'm a suffer of CFS and Fibro, and basically all I do is listen to my body really. Although there are some times when I am so whacked out that I fall asleep on the sofa for hours on end. If you want to talk then feel free to send me a PM and maybe I can offer a little bit of support. Little helpful tip energy tablets and painkillers are very good for getting you through specific days i.e. days out or something. Just don't tell your Dr that you are taking energy tabs as mine told me off..lol Yet I do still need them now and again.
Rach I hope you get a decent response from Sainsburys regarding the delivery man leaving you with the shopping. How dare he though, although it will probably be put down to "elf and safety" as their way of getting around it. Hugs honey

I do love the ignore button! please cann you all not copy and paste the one I have on ignore, it kind of defets the point!!.
I seem to be doing a little better today, thankfully. Mr LW has had a load of the furniture out from the walls and hoovered behind, and his leather rocker/recliner has been polished. I loathe that chair, but he already had it when I moved in. It's big, clunky, extremely heavy, and every time I've ever tried to sit in it, its pitched me onto the floor.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
afternoon everybody
its turning into quite a nice day here - a bit breezy but sunny and warm.

cyclingyorkie if you click 'user CP' on the green banner above and then on the left hand list there is 'edit ignore list' click that and you can add who you want - their post will not show when they do post but there will be an entry from them so you have the option to look if you want! hope that helps
toots xxPeace will be mine
