I've unloaded the dishwasher today... and that is it... I only did that while I waited for the kettle to boil.. and put away the tesco shop..

I should do the school washing though I guess.. the few bits the lazies put in the baskets anyway!

There is am empty basket in the bathroom and next to it are several socks a couple of school tops and at least 1 pair of trousers.. .. none of which I am picking up!

there was a riot in York today!

It ended up centring on the pub I was drinking in after our staff meal last night!

Unfortunately when the police had evicted the rioters from Lendal Cellars pub - they took them straight to the station and sent them back from whence they came.....(whispers quietly - Hull!)

Most York residents would have liked to see them arrested and charged.......

bring washing in and finish in TD if necessary
    [STRIKE]Wash/air DofE stuff for DS1[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Empty and re-load DW[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Do tea[/STRIKE]
Bake stuff for DS1 to take on his trip
    work stuff
    read with DS2

High School Musical was really well done - lots of the main parts were played by kids who you wouldn't expect to see in a musical performance. DS2 behaved really well and enjoyed himself. That's a big improvement from the time I took him to see Aladdin, as he wouldn't even come through the door once he'd seen the fancy dress outfits. I started my book when he was in the bath and now I'm struggling to find my get-up-and-go again. Must do a bit of baking, though. The work stuff can wait until tomorrow, if necessary, as DS1 will be gone by 4pm and tea will just need warming up for the rest of us.
Best tootle off into the kitchen. x

'fraid not - bottles and glasses being thrown all over - one end of the city was shut down - shoppers were move out of shops - those very near were kept inside for their safety.

The irony is that last night that's where the mobile police centre was situated....
