Helllooooooo!
How's things with everyone?
House is tidy (mostly)
House is clean (in places)
I'm afraid that's as good as it gets over the summer holidays. Children broke up yesterday for 6 and a half weeks. Yeahhhhhhhhh!!!! No more rushing in the morning. DD finished primary school and is all ready for high school. They both got lovely reports. Stripes is looking forward to all her caravanning over the summer.
I probably won't be back on until September so big hugs to everyone, lots of love to those who need it, good luck with your impending dropage piggers, super duper hugs to toots and fairy dust a plenty for LL.
Have a good summer xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Mudders

Hi folks.
Could someone please pass the basket of sticks? BD very rudely barged in on me this morning and is refusing to leave.:(
Flying seems to be ineffectual flapping today – I've managed to bung ingredients for a tomato loaf in the BM and make a quiche for dins, but that's about it.
Hex in case I don't remember later on, very best of luck with your forthcoming interview.:o
Toochoosey forgive my ignorance, but what is a nappy cake, please?
Lilo I've yet to find a way of eking out “spoons” properly, but the one thing I will say is when you're having a good day, don't be tempted to do loads and loads of extra stuff. This is why I find the daily lists so good, it's like I have “permission” to stop when the appointed room is done, iyswim, rather than battling on til I drop and then spending the next week flat on my back. What Toots said about having an easy day before and after outings is very sound advice.
Mudders have a super time in the caravan. Oh, and please give Stripes a cuddle for me.:oI've told you I am NOT doing it again. I am staying on this shelf and just hopping down for a bit of adult recreation every now and then;)
OK, I shall now see if I can gather enough enthusiasm to do anything. If someone would be kind enough to give me a good kick......:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Right I'm going to get on my backside and do the LR in 30mins, sweep and mop the bathroom floor and swap the washing around on the line and take the dog for a nice long walk

bit of an update...have had an email and phone call from Sainsbury's and a £20 voucher, hoping I can use it on cot sheets! Have also been relatively productive, nice lunch out (and cheap - greasy spoon!) and picked up some floradix iron stuff as my hb is a bit low and hoping it might pick me up a bit. we've both done some cleaning, including dh getting the nasty stickers off the wardrobe in the baby's room (was here when we moved in). Have also paid the car tax
arrange flowers
water & feed plants
empty bins
clean bathroom
hoover through whole flat
wm - clothes, towels
dust spare room & baby's roomMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
I don't seem to have achieved a lot since I last posted, but I have put my sleeping bag in the WM (hasn't been used for years!), filled and set off the DW, and had lunch. Pulled out the (empty) wine rack and cleaned behind/under, then cleaned it and put it back. Emptied the dyson, hoovered the stairs, washed the bathroom, bedroom and landing window frames with diluted orange oil to inhibit the mould and make them smell nice. With that and the linseed floor soap, it's smelling delicious upstairs. The loo and hall have been hoovered and dusted, so I'm about to tackle the living room...
