Managed to get most of the house sorted, and the food done before everyone arrived for lunch. The hedge at the back was also done (after the hedge trimmer had been fixed!). We had a lovely lunch in the garden, as the sun decided to shine. And the did the hedge at the front and the mowing. Supper has been eaten, so I now need to empty the dishwasher, refill it, and then work out how to eat all the extra food that I bought and didn't use...:o and then I might do some ironing... or I might go to bed :p

Mind you, I appear to have a houseful on Wednesday, as a friend is coming over with her baby to make/decorate her daughter's birthday cake for the weekend (mind you, she didn't actually get in touch to let me know the size of the cake, so I haven't made it yet!) and my dad is dropping off a chest freezer at lunchtime on his way from Devon to Norfolk (I must remember to make a space for it in the shed). So I'll probably manage to get through quite a bit of the food, although I might issue a few invitations for this week, just to be on the safe side!
