    Morning all,

shameful events yesterday in York, bluddy knuckle scraping morons, should have been arrested and charged with public order offences at least.

Anyway, went to bed early yesterday after a day of 'resting'...think it all caught up with me a bit.;)

    Got up, let chickens out.

Put TD on to get uniform dry.

    WM loaded and on

Pulled pork in slowcooker, smelling lubberly.

    Dining table cleared.

Rest of washing up neatly stacked for DD's to do when they get up.

    Cat let in and fed.

Need to get showered and I think I've realised our mattress is very uncomfortable, gawd knows where to get a better one, this is supposed to be orthopeadic....it is quite tortuous.

    Morning all

Had a great day yesterday, lots of HHCs got most of downstairs done in the morning, and OH did the bathroom while I was out in the afternoon.

I'm not even going to try to get through everything else on the list today, may tackle what I can get done in the kitchen this morning and set OH off with the hoover upstairs. Then have the afternoon off again today, I doubt we'll go anywhere as the weather's looking really grim again. Good morning all.

I forgot the flapjack in the oven yesterday, but it seems ok. DS1 and friend got back at 9am [STRIKE]and I'll give said friend a lift home at 10[/STRIKE], so need to get washed/dressed in a minute (friend just set off, so no mad rush). Then I've got a bit of a list:

    buy eggs
    make brownies and cinnamon cake
    collect rest of laundry
process said laundry - probably 3 loads
    make list for food shop
get DS1 to check torch and batteries
do food shop and buy tracksuit bottoms for DS1
get DS1 to make packing list
    help DS1 pack
    do late lunch
    deliver DS1 to school for 4pm take-off

I don't think I will be on much until I look at my list for the rest of the day, when he's gone. Have a nice Sunday, everyone. x

Rach I'm with grateful, ask your GP about the stuff you got, don't rely on what anyone else says. No idea on current advice on drinking in pregnancy is, but a half of guinness allegedly has iron in and would be a much nicer way to take it ;)
Current NHS advice is not to drink at all (even when you're trying ... and that goes for both men & women apparently :p)... don't even sniff the stuff, although most GPs seem to say that this is excessive and the odd drink won't do any harm. As far as the iron supplements go, your GP can prescribe them if necessary, or recommend over the counter ones - apparently liquid supplements are less likely to make you constipated :o

Overslept... have got chickpeas cooking and have washed the potatoes. SC is off, but need to get the chicken out of it and cooling. Kitchen table is also slowly being cleared as the weather doesn't look like it'll be any good for eating outside.

    Morning all

A dollop of that cba that was flying about the fred earlier in the week hit me full in the face on Thursday after work :(....heyho

Think I've managed to wipe it off now; DS has been decluttered to Cadwell for the day and I'm going to:

    Put WM on
Wash, dry, put away all pots/pans
Choose a dot and clear it.

    bye for now xx

    Morning Everyone.

Feeling a bit sluggish today. Went to a festival in Newcastle yesterday. Had a brilliant time catching up with old friends and watching the caberet and other entertainment. It was a long day and I was shattered. Going to have another cuppa then get cracking.

Need to look for mums pension paperwork as I need to get in touch with DWP to see if the funding affects her pension.

Hugs for everyone specially Toots. Lady L and Diva.
