[STRIKE]bring washing in and finish in TD if necessary[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Bake stuff for DS1 to take on his trip[/STRIKE] Flapjack sorted, but I'd forgotten that I've used up all the eggs, so rest of baking will have to happen tomorrow. :(
    work stuff
    read with DS2

Not a bad day, really. DS1 is sleeping at a friend's after the festival, so a peaceful evening with DS2 in bed and DH out. See you all in the morning. x

Greenbee - looks like you're not planning on sleeping much tonight, then. That's some list! Could you not meet your guests somewhere and go out for lunch? On the other hand, you've got all this food now. How about concentrating on preparing edibles and having a picknick (weather permitting) - the house can then wait until you are back. I'd hate to see you making yourself ill.

Honey please step away from the floradix use of herbal remedies, including floradix has recently been linked to m/c. I was astonished as my m/w recommended in in my last pregnancy (the m/c one).
Sure you will be ok as you're well on the way, but I would be v.v.careful.

really? Have you any links/evidence on that? A few people have recommended it to me I just spent £16 on it but won't risk it if so!

    Hello girls!
    How are we all?
Have stolen last week's list and printed them off in anticipation of the school holidays...just a little thing to keep the kids occupied ;)

    Have I missed much?

It's OK... it isn't as bad as it looks... and I have assistance :D (or will have in the morning anyway)

Downstairs is relatively tidy, apart from the kitchen table and utility room work surface.

SC is on with chicken in it, so we can have cold chicken for lunch. Pillows are in the TD. Cushions may need to go back in again in the morning... difficult to tell whether they're completely dry... honestly, it's easier to dry duvets! Two coats, a suit and a duvet are packed up ready to go to the cleaners.

Most importantly, I'd forgotten that I need to include removing my nail polish on the list as it's all chipped and horrible

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Morning all,
there was a riot in York today!

It ended up centring on the pub I was drinking in after our staff meal last night!

Unfortunately when the police had evicted the rioters from Lendal Cellars pub - they took them straight to the station and sent them back from whence they came.....(whispers quietly - Hull!)

Most York residents would have liked to see them arrested and charged.......

Don't know how I missed that? We were in your neck of the woods all day and even caught the 7.38pm train home and saw nothing, it wasn't us was it? :D

It was quite localised - apparently the oiks concerned arrived by train, headed for The Punch Bowl Tavern - top of Mickelgate - when that was dispersed they headed into town and invaded the Lendal Cellars pub - that's where it really kicked off - St Helen's Square was shut as was half of Coney Street - some staff were kept in the Post Office next door for about 2 hours. By about 2 o'clock it was all over and they were put on a train back to Hull.

In the 'friendly' game of football - York lost 1-0 to Hull...

    Morning all

Another grey, wet and windy morning here but I don't care. In fact I want it to rain ALL week and then the following 2 weeks we have a chance of some decent weather for our hols :D:D:D

Family service this morning which will include a powerpoint of last weekend's camp, cue some guffawing from certain parts of the congregation!

Then this afternoon some serious CHAOS clearance via a series of dots to accomplish. Miss A and W WILL be helping out!

Rach I'm with grateful, ask your GP about the stuff you got, don't rely on what anyone else says. No idea on current advice on drinking in pregnancy is, but a half of guinness allegedly has iron in and would be a much nicer way to take it ;)
