    :hello:

Just popped to the local shop and have decluttered a bottle of wine from its shelves (did pay, honest!) :rotfl: About to declutter a glass or two as reward for my endeavours today :D

    Hi all

I've been home alone tonight though DH's meeting finished earlier than planned so he'll be home in about 45 minutes. No flying apart from washing up, but we did a load yesterday (to be fair I did a bit, DH did a lot!). Still need to hoover a couple of bedrooms but they're not top priority! I do need to make some lunches for tomorrow.

I've struggled a bit (lot) being back at work but I am hoping its just first day back blues.

Valli - brilliant! Reminds me of my friend (also a primary school teacher) who had a little boy come over and say 'Mrs X, there's a swear word in this book'...which was about King !!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

    toots - take care.

If anyone knows what happened to last week, PLEASE let me know! We went for one long weekend in Norfolk, got back last Monday and I just lost track. :D

I don't know if I need to panic about my tax just yet, (see latest MSE news over on the right!) so will probably e-mail my accountant to confirm if I need to run around like a blue rsed fly.

Am embarking on the 100 thing declutter, so will go and post there.

Hope all are well and the break in the hot weather has helped for those who have the rain and breezes. Looks as if it'll reach the rest of you tomorrow!

A kid in my class was doing a show and tell today, it was a box with a tiny, and fragile, hinge. I told the class she couldn't pass it round because of this part and asked if anyone knew what it was called. The answer came - 'inge'. 'You're almost right,' I said, 'but you have missed a letter off at the beginning.' - I asked if anyone knew the complete word.

    And the answer came back...

    'minge'

    Evening all!

I've decluttered the end-of-year review for my department at work (first draft) :T - up until 2.30 last night getting it done, but that was my own fault. At least I was wide awake and fully focused. Couldn't have done it before everyone else was in bed (but should have started it ages ago :o) .
The first day of activity week went well, too. We had a laugh at 13-year olds doing egg-and-spoon races (backwards) and other crazy stuff.
I've also found out that we are due a huge refund on utility bills in August. :jThat should fund repairs to guttering and drainpipes. :D
I've not done much tonight, other than do tea, stock the dishwasher and declutter some icecream. Bath next, and a cuppa/book in bed. I know I'm being a lazy moo and there's lots of stuff I could have done, but it's been an absolutely manic day. I have all this week's non-contact time in one big chunk tomorrow, so lots of peaceful quiet work by myself.

Welcome to all the newcomers and birthday wishes to pigpen's OH.
    Back tomorrow. x

It is all just silly jobs I need to get done before the baby arrives.. in the next 10 minutes!

DD1 is seemingly very impressed with her ear piercings.. :D I am glad she is happy with them. She isn't too impressed with them being sore lol.
