    morning all!

everytime I got to the PC yesterday life intervened!

Yesterday I made good progress with the ironing. Today I will do more - I also have to pick up my bike which has been serviced.

Yesterday's rain coupled with the drop in temperature meant I got quite enthusiastic in the kitchen and cooked a mimi roast and made an apple crumble! Usually my kitchen is an oven and I don't want to cook!

Piggers - good luck - the temps are supposed to be lower all week which might make life more comfortable!

    Good Morning everyone

ooooh...it was soooo good to walk into the kitchen this morning and see a clear sink, draining board and cooker top.:j

    so Day 2..let battle commence...

    1. declutter 5 things from each room (babysteps)
    2. clear kitchen worktop above WM
    3. fit new toilet seat (that'll be a novelty after the balancing act that we've perfected over the past few....months. oops:o)

I'm also a lady who lunches today; plus Mr T is delivering this evening.

I'm starting with my own lists for now...level 1 isn't level 1 for me yet: for example yesterday's 'clean sticky marks off sofa' would mean FINDING the sofa first:eek:; that's assuming it's still there under that pile of gubbins.

    Have a good day xx

Morning all. Sneaky post from work here. Early start again this morning.
roundtuit sounds like you are doing really well. I often feel inadequate compared to the whirling dirlishes on here :) but small victories for yourself are what really matter. Personal lists work best for me too then I can plan it around busy or not so busy work days.

So my list for today when I escape home

    Kitchen surfaces and bin empty
    Hoover all downstairs
    Water baskets and pots
Cut up and pack up pulled pork from yesterday (and test it for dinner tonight :))
Clean bathroom including tiles, windows and taps
Sort out and declutter the airing cupboard.
Throw away all bed linen not used for a couple of years
Clean woodwork in hall and bathroom
    Brush and walk spike

Right back to it I guess. Have a good day all

    Morning all :hello:
It's been really busy here. We got Rhys's swing up on sunday and he loves it. So it was in and out like a yoyo because of the rain.

Yesterday i got up at 6 to make a picnic for everyone including my sister and BIL. 8 o'clock she rings and BIL's granny has had a stroke.:(

For some reason it feels like the summer holidays now, so i'm gonna sort the house again. I've notice that even when the flying has been done the house in a mess by that night. So i'm gonna lay down some rules or else i'll have to live in mess until they go back to school. Hubby will be getting some rules too.;)

Right best get the kettle on and then find my list.

Belated happy birthdays to Cally's DS and Pigpen's OH.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
  • Smalls decluttered to school/pre-school, Mr.S order done. Next to ring plumber and bank, then ironing.

Ouch! DD2 did that to when she was 3 she said she was copying daddy!! Bless them it took a while to heal but you wouldn't even know it had happened now.

You took the words right out of my mouth :D I think things could start to move along for you know pigpen:T

DD2 came home from school yesterday with her finger in a plaster(the one she got trapped in the letter box a while back) So I ask her what you have done now and she says my nail fell of ! It all looks fine though so plaster is of and she will just have to wait for it to grow back she wasn't impressed that she cant but nail varnish on it in the holidays though.

Kids deposited to school DW on it has been raining here again so wont get out in the garden today so will have a :coffee:and then I might start the understairs cupboard:eek::eek:
