My god you lot do a lot I'm a day! I managed to do all the little things like the washing and dishwasher, but only managed to clean one bathroom, wipe only the dirtiest of skirting boards and clean only the two dirtiest windows. Perhaps I should try to finish a job before starting a new one? I am very easily distracted!

    Have a productive day ladies.

Don't panic! Some of us have been here quite a while!

It didn't take one week for your house to get in a state so it will take more than one week to clear it.

It gets easier each week that you do it. What may take a whole day now will be done in an hour or less once you've got into the swing of it.

Concentrate on Level One to begin with, and if you're drowning in clutter which means you can't clean, then add a declutter each day as well - or even several. Do them with a timer set for five or ten minutes. You'll be amazed how much you get done against the clock - preferably with loud music!

I now find myself doing a mini fling when I'm waiting for the coffee to brew (you can get quite a bit done in four minutes!)

And if you think I have a perfect house or that I'm here because I'm a fab housewife - no way, on the contrary - but the house looks better all the time (despite the best efforts of 3 teens - whoops - one 20 year old and 2 teens!)

But not until 1 October - No lessons at all in August due to my holidays/instructor's holidays don't match, so have all of September to remember everything I've forgotten.

    WM on
Cats chased out of kitchen because they are complaining about the catering. Wouldn't eat Waitrose mog mush last night and are now miffed because they were offered mere Go-Cat this morning. Does this look like a democracy?
Driving lesson later, beginning to get serious feelings of 'I'm not sure I will ever do this', which isn't like me.

Think I might try and find the kitchen floor under all the dirt (gets BIG bottle of bleach out).

And some of us still don't do much in the way of cleaning. :D:D:D

    But the intentions are there....
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

:hello:Hi to all my flylady friends!

I was planning on gardening this morning, but it's raining - which I'm really pleased about.

I haven't started the kitchen yet, as DS1 has his driving theory test - I dropped him off, just got home - text to say he'd forgotten his paper counterpart licence. Had to rush back again. I really must go back to encouraging him to get everything ready the night before. He had an interview last week and forgot to take his passport as asked. He didn't get a job, not sure whether that was because he'd forgotten or not - there's a lot of competition. It was for Barnado's, and he has nearly three years experience with Oxfam, so we thought he had a very good chance.

Okay - I'll go do a little flying!

Skintgypsy I agree with Serena, I get through stuff on the list some weeks but my house is still far from perfect. The motivation on here is what keeps me going.
