    Hi everyone!

Feeling a bit blue about money at the moment as my totals have gone UP since last week! Have decided not to post until after payday (friday!) as it just depresses me!!!! Sorry......

On the plus side however, my car goes on the market next week so that will be a huge amount off debt and hopefully will give me the motivation I am currently lacking to seriously attack it again!

Well done on what you're all doing.

    Sorry I'm late!

OK, Because I haven't got my sticky hands on that cheque yet, I'm still stalling, so:

    Debt Now:

    Barclaycard £1614.35 - 4.9%
    M&S £4838.52 - 3.9%
    Cahoot Loan £8105.08 - 5.8%
    Amex CC £2002.69 - 4.9%
    Barclays OD £954.48 - 0%

    Grand Total = £17,515.12

HOWEVER, I have some matched betting profit winging it's way to me and my mum gave me the cash she was going to give me for xmas a bit early, so I anticipate at least £300 off the debt in the next week. Plus, I've now instituted a late payment charge on my invoice so that should make them pay me sharpish, AND earn a bit extra into the bargain! :T

I'm loving the matched betting - even got my OH into it! Hurrah for Betfair and Quidco I say!

Okely Dokely. That's most of my news, so:

    Goals For Next Week:

    1)£300 pound off debt please!
    2) Try to equal this week's matched betting profit!
3)For Goddssake woman, if you have to chain yourself to the finance dept. coffee machine, GET THAT CHEQUE.
    4) Send invoice for travel expenses and late payment charge if applicable.

    Hooray!

A bit off topic but what offers have you done in the last week, in terms of matched betting.

Over £200 profit in a week for a newbie is very good. You must have had some cash to throw at it. Well done.

    What did it say?

HSBC sent us one saying they are looking into the matter and then another one saying they won't be doing anything.

They said the charges were fair :rotfl:

I think it said something like "Thanks for letter to .... We're sorry you have a complaint... Looking into it and will reply shortly"

Could finally face doing a new update now I've been paid!!!! Unfortunately, have been doing a lot of Christmas shopping too....

    Debt

    Natwest Overdraft (£1,000 @ 0%) = £957.57
    Natwest Graduate Loan (6.5%) = £1,600.00
    Cahoot Car Loan (5.8%) = £3,883.42
    Credit Card (NSPCC, 0%) = £2,102.00
    Student Loan = £8,864.87

    Credit

    £1,600.00

    TOTAL = -£15,807.86
TOTAL PAID OFF SINCE START OF CHALLENGE = £2,727.95

    Goals to follow.....
    .
  • I'm getting a bit sloppy in the run up to Christmas I fear!

Capital One being slow to the point of pain hasn't helped, but:

    1) I am chasing Capital One until they send my cheque
    2) I am going to send a LBA to FD soon
    3) Once I have the money from Capital One I am going to settle the Egg Loan and start paying off American Express
    4) It'll take a while to clear but I'll probably try to boost my payments to American Express by doing more matched betting (have been doing the odd bit, which boosts the Quidco earnings I suppose!)
    5) Then it's the home run, the 3.9% debts of M&S and Lloyds :j

Come on DDDK, you can do it!
