Well done everyone.
Sorry I haven't been around lately with support. After I came back from my hols all my time got taken up with my new job.
Had some good news couple of days ago.
HSBC wrote regarding my OH bank charges. She had left off taking them to court for over a month now and we were due to do it this week but out of the blue the agreed to pay £1080 back from the £1200 she wanted. So we will take that.0 -
Barclays just settled my claim for just under £500 - I'm still waiting on LLoyds tsb - the court lost the papers so there has been a bit of a delay!
Looking forward to Monday, when I'll be back on the 18k challenge wagon after the holidays - hope you're all there with me!!!

DDDK, I HATE YOU!!! I'm so so jealous. Right now, I'm only just managing to stay in the black while I wait for my paycheques from my temping and freelance jobs. Well done you though! You should be very proud - I'm still trying to win though, so I guess the better you do, the more it spurs me on!!!! Bless me and my naive optimism!
Lynz - Hello lovely! Long time no see - I've been pretty slack about MSEing over christmas, but hopefully I'm back for good now.

Hi Mirtos!!!
Only thing is, my debts have gone down as I paid the Egg loan off but I overstretched doing it so I'm now in my overdraft and I probably won't be able to do any more debt paying off past minimum payments for about a month while my bank balances recover
But, the Egg loan is gone - a huge psychological boost!!! :rotfl:LBM: Nov 2004 Debt Apr06: £19,273.46 (Highest)

morning! This is my first post from my sexy new blackberry type phone. I changed to T mobile, got the phone free AND cut my monthly bill :T that makes me happy
However, my debt is pretty much at a standstill until i've had a few more pay cheques from the new temping job and have got myself organised again. On the upside, my bank charges from barclays should be refunded shortly so that can go straight on debt. I've started selling on amazon again, but so far the profits are fairly small thanks to the new postage costs. I'll be back later to post goals.

Right.
Debt now? - Same as last week!
Goals?
1)Ebay my OH's digital camera.
2)Sort out DDs to Barclaycard and M&S
3)Do not go in to overdraft more than £200 while awaiting pay cheque on Friday 27th. (I know this is bad, but until I've had a couple of weeks of regular pay, I'm a bit stuck.)
4)As soon as Bank charges refund from Barclays arrives, pay it straight off Barclaycard.
5)Find at least 1 other item to ebay.
6)Get back into the habit of logging in to MSE and Quidco every day.Official Debt Free Wannabe Nerd Club member 095! Debt Now:
