Hi folks, for some reason I can't get onto the SW website, so could someone please check for me that green lentils are free on green?

    Thanks x

Hi everyone, I'm shattered after a busy day! I was at work for a few hours this morning then came to my Mum's and had brekkie, we then walked to the stables (1.5miles), painted the stable which took a couple of hours and was VERY tiring, than walked home (another 1.5miles). So I should have burnt a good few calories today!! Here's my meal plan:

Brekkie - 1.5 scrambled eggs, tinned toms, mushrooms, 2 toast & marmite (HEB)
Lunch - small jacket potato, tuna, salad, salad cream (1), coleslaw (1.5), grated cheese (HEA), yogurt
    Snack - strawberries and raspberries
Tea - roast chicken, potatoes, veg, gravy (2.5), strawbs, rasps,

Hubby took us all out for a pub meal this afternoon. It was hard to pick something sensible synwise.
Is there a way to find out how many syns the dish was? I've tried the SW website but they were no help.
It was a Brewsters pub and I had Grilled chicken & Bacon salad with vinaigrette.

Ok am feeling slightly pathetic asking this but what is a 'maxi' dress?

I don't 'do' dresses after spending too many years with thighs that rubbed together. I have to be prised out of my jeans/ 3 quarters or shorts even when we go out. I did wear a long dress to a wedding last year but it was soooooooooo hot my thighs still rubbed so couldn't wait to get it off :D.

But I say go for it, wear whatever you feel comfortable in and if you look good in it don't worry what others think.

A maxi dress is the opposite to a mini-dress which is as short as possible - maxi means as long as possible. Ankle-length so your toes just peep out.

They're being worn a lot around here and are very suitable for the weather we're having just now. Often they're elasticated at the top so just fit under the arms with bare shoulders, or there may be a halter top. Bright colours and patterns, very informal-looking. Much more comfortable than jeans or trousers because nothing to dig in around the waist.

I am a short a*se and I like calf-length dresses, which usually end up being ankle-length on me. I couldn't wear those maxi-dresses because of the top, but I can see why they're so popular.

Hope you don't mind me asking you guys a question unrelated to sw!!
I've got a wedding to go to next month and I've fell in love with a maxi dress which looks quite gorgeous on :D My question is, being the big 40 that I am, am I too old to wear it??
Actually it is sw related because if it wasn't for sw, I wouldn't be happy enough with my size to try something different :T

good lord Karen I am over 60 and it never occurred to me that I might too old for full length dresses! (My ankles are my WORST feature, so I wear long skirts and dresses all the time in summer, they feel so nice and feminine too).

Wear what you want, girl, (as long as you don't show your bum cr*ck - that current fashion really grosses me out :( )
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

    Maxi(mum) length opposite of mini(mum) length ;)

Apologies for being a bit of an echo with this answer (perhaps it'll teach me to read all posts before answering any, lol)
