  • Oh dear, I went slightly over my syns yesterday :o first day not 100%. I had 28.5syns (I had an extra tortilla wrap cos I got the packet out freezer thinking there were 2 left but there were 3 so the fairies made me eat it), plus extra dollops of sour cream, and a funsize Milky Way. I normally only have 10 syns a day so should be ok. I had lots of fruit, salad and veg too yesterday. Back on plan 100% today

  • I was out last night at a fundraising dinner and decided to do flexible syns - the meal was great as it was a mozarella tomato salad followed by pork and peaches with loads of veg, the only thing was the chocolate cake at the end of which I only had half. I did the driving so only had one glass of fizzy at the start so I synned it out at about 25 - not too bad!
Before slimming world I woul have just gine mad and beat myself up the next day!
The next thing is tomorrow as we are going to the family day at York races.....
My big problem is that we are social animals - I don't drink much, but we are invited out to a lot of do's, so I have to pick my way through these potential minefields most weeks!
Hey ho - I'm not complaining!

    Morning all

managed to go over by 4 yesterday due to me not being able to say no to the taco shells even though i was full. This is not a good sign- eating when not hungry :wall: Especially synned stuff!! argh

Oh well starting again today :)

Yesterday I got more quorn poppin bites along with southern style chicken style burgers. I liked them last time but OH was well sceptical. I pointed out that we will save a fortune ( needed right now) by eating a few vegetarian meals a week. ( we already use quorn mince). However he had a southern style burger and thought it was lovely and said he can definately eat this a couple of times a week :D ( thanks to Yoemma for suggesting farmfoods, there isnt one local but i passed one yesterday :) )

So taking your advices and going for more green days to try and lower the cost of food. I saw on the news yesterday that meat has gone up 16% in the last year alone. plus when you are trying to buy the leanest thats always the most expensive, so I am aiming for less often :D and nice quality, and eyes open for the offers. :money:

So today is a green day:

Breakfast: fruit yoghurt ( blueberries, strawbs, banana)
Lunch: Will probably be the jacket potato and beans option while out
Tea: Quorn Southern burger ( 3.5) Wholemeal roll ( HEB1) Wedges Massive salad with yoghurt dressing

Snacks Milk in Teas ( HEA1) Fibreplus bar ( im sure ill find one in a newsagents somewhere) HM Latte ( HEA2) Dime bar 7 WW S&V hoops 3.5 , Pineapple and yog

right better get that boiler stoked- keep those fairies at bay everyone :D
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    Good morning,

sounds like you are all coping and not doing too bad. I had a wee chocolate binge last night, no idea what came over me, but just kept eating, matchsticks, truffles (that were meant as a pressie for someone:eek:)

Went to the gym this morning and walked on the threadmill, burned 470 calories, so hopefully limited the damage a bit. I just don't know why I do it.:mad:

Really busy with housework today, the freezer is not working properly so will have to check to see what needs using up, so I can switch it off, defrost it, clean it and switch it back on, fingers crossed.

Eating wise, not quite sure yet, but eggs and ham for breakfast, lots of fruit and yoghurt, salad for lunch, prob with tuna and white fish from the freezer for tea.

I also want to mix up my HEb a bit, as I tend to eat Ryvita with cheese triangles every evening. I bought some weetabix and will have that later on tonight with strawberries and milk. And no or very little syns to make up for the chocolate binge.

    Have a great day everyone.:)
