  • Hey all, back on board today after a week away.
I went on 'youth houseparty' with church and we had all our food provided, I tried to stay away from the tray bakes and cakes and biscuits at lunchtimes but think I still ate a lot fewer pieces of fruit and veg as it wasn't provided in the same way as I do for myself at home. So WI tomorrow should be interesting, a small gain is to be expected but I am okay with that.
I am also not a fan of the clapping at the meeting, I would prefer not to go around and go through everyone "how have you been this week? have you tried anything new this week? is there anything to stop you?..." I don't mind the questions but it takes sooooo long if people answer them properly!

Hope everyone is well, I won't read back over all of it, it seems to be an awful lot to look through :)

    Hello everyone.

Managed a 2.5lb loss this week, not bad but was hoping for a bit more after the disasterous 3.5 on last week. Need to give myself a kick up the bum, made an absolute pig of myself over the bank holiday and need to get my head back into gear. Sure I would have had double the loss if it wasn't for my weak willpower .
Meal plan for today is -

    b - Muller and apple
l - Salad made with lett, cel, cuc, spring onion, cherry toms and beetroot. Slice of roast pork (fat removed). Cherries and hd melon for after
t - Pork 'fried' rice. Made with pork, rice, garlic, babycorn, onion, mroom, green beans, runner beans, peppers, chilli and herbs. (will be at least 1/2 veg)

Syns snacks - 2 sugars (2) Fibre Plus (heb) Sweet chilli sauce (3) Tsp olive oil for stiry fry (2)

Wish I was able to keep a small amount of choccy in the house for little evening treats but I just can't (as i discovered this weekend) Tried cutting into portions and buying multipacks of curlywurlys for example but I just can't stop at one. So will either have to buy something individually on the day within syn limits or go without.

Been a long day, had lots of exercise (for me considering I [STRIKE]am[/STRIKE] was a couch potato. Hubby been working away all weekend so didnt get chance to go to Tesco when he got home today as it shut early for bank hol.

:j Exercise 4 x 15 mins on exercise bike & walk with MIL & Doggies.

So for Breakfast I had a Tesco Cholesterol yog drink

For Lunch I had 2 slices of toast (Hovis Best of Both bread) with Olivio olive light spread and Marmite on 1 slice.

tonight all I had for dinner was a plate of (frozen) mixed veg with 2 Irish sasauges and lashings of veggygravy. Actually one of my fave meals (has been for ages).

Hubby had Waffles, egg, baked beans, sasages and 2 slices of Hovis BoB with Olivio Olive Light spread!

:p Have drunk loads of water and a few glasses of weak squash! :j Running to the loo = extra exercise I suppose though ;)

Not sure if I am actualy getting the hang of SW yet though, even without a lot in the house to eat :o

:j Completed 30 mins on bike this morning (in 1 go, got carried away by the music on the radio :p).

B Cholesterol yog drink (Tesco own).

    L ????

    - EDIT Hubby had to pop to corner shop for some bread for his ham sarnies so he very thoughtfully picked me up a small tin of WW country veg soup. Which I have now just eaten (no bread) by itself :)

Dinner - Jacket spud with tuna sweetcorn n mayo with some squeezy chive cheese.

We've still not been shopping so trying to think of something for lunch! But we are going to Tesco later.

Am off out (as usual for me on Tuesday) this evening to 'circle' so a lot of sitting around but a lot of focus on 'mind works' , so after lunch I will be fitting in 2 more 15 mins of exercise.

Keep up the good work everybody and thanks for the support. Sure I will get the hang of it one day! lol :T

morning gang. sorry i haven't had time to read all the posts today as I'm busy with work and moving house this week!!
SW has gone our of the window as we are polishing off everything in the fridge to save us moving it all with us!!

Just a quick question - are there any SW-friendly bagels??
I like wholewheat/brown ones so was wondering if there are any that count as a HEB or are low syn??
would be lovely with some quark on top!

    thanks
    hope all's well

  • Yoemma, sorry to hear that you and your partner have broken up. I understand how hard and upsetting a break up can be. :grouphug:When you are ready carry on with SW and show him what he is missing. Get out with the girls, go speed dating (i bet thats such a laugh), take time to do things you have always wanted to do. Do things that make YOU feel fabulous!! You will have days you'll find hard but you will get through it and get your confidence back! (with a great figure to boot! ;))

Today I am back at work so so far am sticking to the plan properly (first time in nearly 2 weeks!!!)

Today is either gonna be Red/EE

B - 28g Fruit and Fibre (1/2 heb) with milk (hea) 1 w/g crackerbread with nutella (1/2 heb + 1.5 syns) Satsuma, Cup of Tea

L - Ham salad (cucumber, toms, pepper, carrot, spring onion, lettuce) Packet of velvet crunch (4) Shape 0% yog

D - ?? There isn't a lot in the house ATM food wise (hense why i'm keeping things neutral!)

So i have 9.5 syns potentially left over... and possibly another hea+b depending on dinner.

I am not one of these people who can plan in advance as i can be quite fussy. I usually have a rough idea of what i want to eat during the week but i dont know what i want until the day! For example this week i planned on having: Chilli + rice, chicken stir fry + noodles, smoked haddock + SW chips + salad and SW Curry at some point this week but i have no idea what day i will fancy having these!!
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    new beginnings...... new successes..

Morning ladies...oh, afternoon actually!!! I'm having a quiet relaxing day infront of the TV today. Hoping a nice restful day will mean I can cope with work tomorrow. I'm very glad we're so lucky and get Tuesday off too for this bank hol (not all of them though!). I was supposed to have a riding lesson tomorrow after work but for the first time ever (and I've been riding 19 years) I have cancelled it as I'm pretty sure I won't be feeling well enough after a day at work. I've got myself a doctors appointment for tomorrow morning as I have a terrible cough and my doctor told me recently that due to my low blood count I'm not strong enough to fight infections and things properly....might explain why when I get a cough it usually last 8-12 weeks!!!! I don't really like taking antibiotics but we're supposed to be going camping and fell walking for a few days next week so I want to be better by then!

I can't decide what to have for lunch yet, I'm hungry but I don't know what I fancy so I don't know what day I'm having yet, it supposed to be a red day but might go green!

Brekkie - 2 small eggs scrambled, tinned tomatoes
    Lunch - ??????
    Tea - something with chicken!!

Not very well planned today is it?!

Right as a way to keep me on the straight and narrow I have just ordered the 'SW world of flavours book', hopefully more variety and meal ideas will help to keep me motivated.
I have a little question for you lovely people, whats your favourite SW recipe book? Think I may order another but not sure which is best, don't go to classes so not able to have a flick through. I mainly do EE so not much point in me buying red or green ones.
    Thanks :)
