I actually really like going to my group.....maybe its because I dont go out to work and dont get out and about so much through the week, but we do have a good laugh there and there are some lovely ladies who come collect me cos Im not allowed to drive at the mo- and If I didnt go I wouldnt find out half the things I do hints and tips wise.

The reason you love class is why I didn't like it! My job is very sociable - I work with teens/young adults, 15 of them! - so don't think my brain has capability to be social in a different setting after work! :rotfl:

Last night I made the mango chicken from this months magazine and it was yummy. Tonight from same magazine I made the cheesy broccolli pasta bake and that was really nice too.

Been a long day, had lots of exercise (for me considering I [STRIKE]am[/STRIKE] was a couch potato. Hubby been working away all weekend so didnt get chance to go to Tesco when he got home today as it shut early for bank hol.

:j Exercise 4 x 15 mins on exercise bike & walk with MIL & Doggies.

So for Breakfast I had a Tesco Cholesterol yog drink

For Lunch I had 2 slices of toast (Hovis Best of Both bread) with Olivio olive light spread and Marmite on 1 slice.

tonight all I had for dinner was a plate of (frozen) mixed veg with 2 Irish sasauges and lashings of veggygravy. Actually one of my fave meals (has been for ages).

Hubby had Waffles, egg, baked beans, sasages and 2 slices of Hovis BoB with Olivio Olive Light spread!

:p Have drunk loads of water and a few glasses of weak squash! :j Running to the loo = extra exercise I suppose though ;)

Not sure if I am actualy getting the hang of SW yet though, even without a lot in the house to eat :o

Hi everyone, hope you've all had a nice bank holiday. I've been out for the day with my Mum, thought I was feeling better but shattered and a bit rough again now! I was all set to be good at lunch and have a salad or jacket potato but the main cafe was fully booked so we had to go to the mini cafe that only served things that weren't slimming world friendly. Luckily the portions were fairly small and I've not eaten much (for me!!!) the last few days anyway! I've not had my tea yet, I made it earlier but wasn't hungry and didn't fancy it, I'll have it in a bit though as I'm starting to feel ever so slightly hungry now! AFter the lunch palaver I'm not really sure what colour day I had, it was meant to be red!!!

    Brekkie - banana and yogurt
    snack - half a scone (6 syns)
Lunch - half a small slice of quiche, stilton (HEA?), ham, small piece of pork pie, tomatoes, pickled onions, gerkin, half a small piece of bread, 2 small new potatoes.
Tea - salmon with dill, small jacket potato, salad, salad cream (2)
  • Hi Lisa, could you throw an apple or a couple of tangerines down your throat, if you are peckish? Only there's hardly any superfree in what you ate today (banana, tomatoes, pickled onion/gherkin)
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

I don't chat much at class, I always take my knitting so the sitting around time isn't wasted. I have made a couple of friends there. But I do know that staying to the class means I try harder to stick to the plan, and it has worked. I don't think anyone likes the patronising clapping (especially the clapping if you have gained :( but I think the good outweighs the bad. Still, I'm always pleased that half the weighed-in people leave or we'd be there all night :rotfl:
