You could have the mixed grill if you are on an original day - i usually do - just syn the fried eggs (2syn each) - try and give the sausage & onion rings away (or treat yourself!) and count the peas as a heb - add a jacket potato for second heb!

The grilled fish would work well on EE

The sweet potato burger would prob be ok if you ask from mayo on side and syn the white roll (you will have to look it up!)

The best desert would be the fruit skewers - but i would treat myself with the rocky horror - just know that if you do put on or stay the same at WI - you will know the reason - it won't be as bad!

    Hope this helps!

Hmmmm, thanks, hadn't thought of the mixed grill, that would be really filling and might distract me from the Rocky Horror......but then again!

whoa thats loads of syns :eek: Maybe lo_bush could settle for sneaking a spoonful of her hubby's pud for a treat to save on some syns?? The flexible day is still great for the glass or two of wine and enjoying a great main course tho

Id imagine also that the steak would be better than the ribs as ribs are pretty fatty, maybe the chicken ( miuns skin)

There arent many harvester items on the sytns online which is a bit annoying

Hadn't thought about the ribs being fatty, when I've had them before they wer really tender and meaty but I suppose there will still be fat there, I'm warming to the idea of the mixed grill at the mo, thanks for advice and suggestions. I'm sure, years ago, harvester used to have SW recommendations on their menus but I could be wrong.

Well when it comes to Rocky horror we're both exactly like that, shielding it from each others spoon, daren't let your guard down for a minute! We even have a whinge if the other person looks bigger and we definitely don't do 'Sharing' !!

yeah the reason why they are moist and tender is because of the volume of fat in ribs. There is always visible fat in ribs, take a look when you go to supermarket, the marbling of the fat is what keeps them quite tender.

    Fine for atkins though :D

Afternoon Ladies & Gents... I've come to you all to help me out.

I've just got back from the shops and have bought a pommegranite.....except this is the first time I've ever owned one :D:D and don't have a scooby as to what to do with it....

I don't mind pureeing it to syn it (if you can) and making a nice pud with it so it will be a treat.

Does anyone have any thoughts? (that doesn't include creme fraiche as I can't get it)

Also there are lot of red currents, blue berries, little orange berry things (dunno what they are) and goosegogs.... I would like to try them all too but never bought any so don't know what to do with them.

    xx

Blueberries can just be eaten as they are, with yoghurt. Of all fruit bluberries are my ultimate favourite! Like raspberry/ strawbs.

Pomegranite, no you cut it in half and eat the seeds with a pin :D ( or scrape them out and use them in a fruit salad etc)

Are the orange things you are talking of Kumquats?
