HEbs are from 400g loaf not 800g so you would have to syn a slice :o

would 1x 800g slice be a heb, like 2x 400g is? just out of interest.

I think it would; and since on red or green she is allowed 2 HEBs then the two 800g loaf slices would be ok, wouldn't they? As usual, I'm confusing myself here.Right, I have decided that from tomorrow I am following one of the recommended menus from the website, the EE one. A couple of things will have to be swapped: I NEVER eat carrots, and I shan't be using the tinned soup or the packet pasta'n'sauce, or the canned spaghetti. They will all be replaced by something equally healthy. I do notice though that most of the breakfasts on the menu do NOT include cereals. I will let you know how I get on :)AND I've just bought a packet of Co-op wholemeal pittas to occasionally use as a healthy extra, yum yum, warmed up and stuffed with cold salad or with warm mediterranean vegetables.

I dont eat bread now.....but when I did I used to get the 800g loaf and just have 1 slice, (OH used to moan at the piddly little loafs:p ) Its the same weight so I cant see why it would be different?

Apart from that it is a green day :D

Thankyou!! I'm panicking a bit now as I had it in my head that 1 slice from a 800g loaf was a HEb, i don't buy nimble or 'little' pieces of bread as OH won't eat them and i rarely eat bread. B*gger, i have treated 1 slice as a HEb when I have been doing EE too, well at least i know now and thankfully had enough syns yesterday to use for the extra slice.
