We are going to see some friends who are staying at Center Parcs tomorrow, so need to be a little flexible.
Before we go, in the morning, I am going to have a go at making the chocolate, then mint ice cream that is a recipe in the new magazine. The ice cream maker is chilling in the freezer. I have also grilled all the veg (peppers, aubergine, red onion, squash) for the roast veg and cous cous salad I am planning to have on Thursday night. I love the Delia version with harissa style dressing, but I think I will add all the flavourings in the dressing to quark or fromage frais and leave out the olive oil and see how that goes.
Here is the plan for tomorrow:
Green day
HEA X1 = 250 ml semi skinned milk for tea etc
Breakfast: quorn sausages and onions cooked on GF grill, baked beans, slice of wholemeal toast (HEB x1)
Lunch: Left over syn-free curry and rice (eat before we go to Center Parcs, planning to give the kids their lunch there).
Dinner: Friends are cooking this for us, probably macaroni cheese. Will just have a small portion and treat it as my syns for the day.
I will take lots of fruit with me.
Total syns: ?
This is the only way I can think of to deal with this. Can't really take my own food, would look rude? How do you all deal with visiting friends?

Am trying to stick to EE most dys but 2 dy had dinner out.
Had pub meal of lasagne and chips. Do you think there is any point trying to work out syns or should i just start again tomorrow?:o0 -
Hey all!
I've been so scrappy at posting recently,I must try harder!
Back on track after a few difficult days, but I have had extreme cravings today.Thankfully I bought loads of fruit at the weekend so I've managed to fill my tummy with that instead.
EE day for me:
B- Bran flakes (HEB) milk (HEA) honeydew melon
L - SW beef stew (left overs from the yummy meal lastnight)
D - Steamed salmon with jacket potato and salad (toms/cucumber)
Snacks, Cadbury's caramel (little bar 10 syns) strawberries, blueberries and a scoop of ice cream (2.5)
Total syns 12.5
I have weigh in tomorrow and I'm unsure of how it's gonna go. I have had a few blips, but the past 3/4 days have been ok.0 -
I've just come back from weigh in, stayed the same which is ok by me as I've had a week off and spent time in Indian restaurants (is Cobra alcohol free beer free, I wonder, cannot find it on syns online) and transport caffs eating yummy all day breakfasts. It was "bring a dish" night at SW and someone had made meringues using sweetener instead of real sugar. THEY WERE DIVINE. Very very fragile so ..well... they had to be eaten all in one mouthful frankly
She had topped them with low fat squirty cream (Asda) and tiny bits of strawberry. She was afraid if she used quaaaark it would just smash the little meringues. Boy they were good. There was also a fab tuna & mushroom quiche where the quiche tin had been lined with bacon which is a good idea.
Now who was feeling fed up ^^^ up there and "off to make rabbit food for myself" - there's absolutely nothing in the SW bible that says we EVER have to eat rabbit food. You can have a giant dish of roasted mediterranean vegetables, green beans and onions, that roasted beetroot mentioned earlier sounds good too - anything but lettuce. No-one ever felt full or said "boy that was good" after a dish of lettuce, imoTreat yerself well girl and don't give up. (if you really do have a fridge full of lettuce, lettuce soup is quite nice, or braised lettuce)
sorry I'll shut up now.
oh by the way that asda low fat squirty cream is 6 syns for the whole squirter apparently.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

actually i have got to day 3 and it is all so similar it is not worth writing any more !!
i am now at a stage where i tend not to eat bread unless i have to , so i am probably eating more in the way of cereal and cereal bars , but all within limits.
i think my problem is over doing the free foods
i asked my consultant about success express but she just keeps pushing EE at me , which just doesn't suit me - all the above are green days by the way.
she told me it is just because i am already slim and don't need to lose much  no help whatsoever !!
oh and if it helps understand it any better - it is not written in meals as i tend to graze nearly all day long x0 -
Good evening all
Well done to those with losses :T and hugs to those facing hard times right now
Well it was fairly nice this morning so it was a walk around the golf course for us... tomorrow -hubby has a golf comp so I will be having a lazy day and then Thursday will be a trip to the gym. I had my 1st trip to the gym yesterday and ecky thump -I loved it

Can anyone help with syns for Dairy Milk 40g snack size bars pls :mad:0

Hello Mummy of 5, if you look at your list and at Mrs M's list for a day there are the same number of different foods (approx). If you complete the online diary too it comes out as individual ingredients not as complete meals and sometimes I look at mine and am amazed at the great long list! Are you drinking plenty of water with all those free foods? And perhaps have an apple instead of one of the helpings of couscous or something, so you increase the superfree at the expense of the free. But it all looks ok to me (I'm no expert though); you aren't adding sugar to hot drinks or anything like that are you? Is it worth trying a couple of days of Consultant's Superspeed Soup to see if it jolts your body into submission? Best of luck:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

I can't promise to be so quick in the future, this is because I have only just joined online and am still excited about looking up syns online (so sad!).
The nearest I can find is:
Dairy Milk Bar, 39g Multipack bar, each chunk 2 syns
