Tea at OH's mum's was okish but clocked up a few syns;
Pork chop (fat removed)
Cabbage
carrots
parsnips (steamed....yuck!!!)
Mash (2 for the butter....waste of syns!!!)
Roast spuds (2 for the oil.....waste of syns!!!)
Gravy (2)
Yorkie pud (4....sort of worth the syns but could do soooo much more with them than that!!!)
so 10 syns for a dinner that would have been 2 if I did it myself!!!!
Anyway.....we've seen an AMAZING house on the internet!!! It has 7 acres, 12 stables, a fishing pond, caravan storage and a campsite!!! The price is unbelieveable but still out of our price range. We're going to have a walk tomorrow that goes right past it to have a better look. It'd be a fabby business for me to run!!! Ah well....a girl can dream!!!

guys i need advice.
I have been eating a fair amount of junk, gone over syns but still having at least 3rd F&V and v rare bread. I got to target about weeks ago ish and since then have oversynned pretty much everyday with little restraint.
I took your advice dizzy about trying something fabulous on so I wouldnt pick at bad-snacks,so I tried on the size 6 maxi dress ( which clearly isnt a 6 more like a 10) and it was so fabulous when I got it and now its too big and gaping at the back
No way can I get it taken in ( this is not even the one for the wedding) its a maxi with straps, As for the one for the wedding I think im going to have to get some sort of wonderbra type thing to stop it falling down? The wedding is next week, I have no time eek! I am inspired by YOEMMAS sig, a girl should be classy and fabulous! but yes I look like a bag of rags! Still!! :rotfl:
Still havent got the scales sorted, there were hardly any to exchange for so I got a giftcard instead but I thought I had put a bit on, but now im looking again i think i have lost that in the last week, even though I have so blatantly oversynned. I have not put weight on if anything Ive lost more. Or I am more slender in general ( water loss from constant wees???)
Whats going on here anyone know? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

I certainly will be!!!
I'm just making some syn free crisps. How do others make them? My consultant said to do them in the microwave but they're taking forever (10 mins I think will do them :eek:) which isn't very MSE!!! does anyone do them in the oven? ALso, would they stay crispy if I put them in a tupperware? Might try it with a couple! I'm having chip spice on them mmmmm! They best be good!0 -
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They took 12mins all told but were AMAZING lol!!! I've sacrificed 2 into a tupperware tub to see if they're still crispy tomorrow. If they do they'll be fab to amke for when we go walking.....it drives me mad watching OH sit eating crisps while I'm stuck with fruit!!!
ps......sorry for the mass posting, OH is on night shift and I bored!!! Having a TV catch up but like to be on the lappy too!0 -

Now this may interest you. I went to see my Doctor for an asthma check up and was moaning about my weight and she said that she could refer me to SW or WW. When I asked what she meant by 'refer' she said I could get 12 vouchers for 12 weeks free.
I filled in the form, she sent it off and I await the vouchers. I am amazed (I've put this on the Freebie board too). Perhaps it's a local thing, I live in Dorset.
Hi Lucy,
whereabouts in Dorset are you?
I'm almost at target, but I'm working on convincing my parents to join. They've both been overweight for as long as I can remember and they both have Type II diabetes. I'm hoping that getting a prescription for SW will help convince them to give it a go.
I'm in Poole, my parents are in Bournemouth.
Thanks,

Can you tell me exactly what you do with these? How did you slice them?
Have you ever had the carrot and parsnip and sweet potato ones you can buy in eg pret? I love them. Would be amazing to make some from home I have some beetroots in as well as potatos. They might be a nice thing to eat for me tomorrow?? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Oooooh now there's a thought....I have beetroot in the garden, might give one a try tomorrow! I just peeled a medium potato and sliced fairly thinly. Then sprayed a plate with frylight, laid the potato slices out (the ones that were touching stuck together!) and sprayed the slices with frylight. I then microwaved them on full power until crispy, it took 12 mins in my microwave. If they stay crispy in my tupperware tub (it's an airtight sealed one) I might try doing a batch in the oven so I can do more at once and have enough for a few days. I thought this would class as misuse of free food but my consultant told us how to do it so I assume it's ok.....didn't do too big a potato though as its still calories after all!!!0 -
Damn & blast it  hubby is just eating his fruit & ff fromage
with crumbled meringue which made me realise when I had mine earlier I FORGOT the meringue . Am so used to eating fruit & muller never gave the meringue a thought:mad::mad:. Oh well don't fancy it on its own and am too stuffed anyway. So only had 7.5 syns not 10. Never mind, makes note to self - WILL have meringue tomorrow.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
