  • Hello everyone :)

I had my second weigh in this week, and lost 2lb.... and got slimmer of the week :j so had a lovely bowl of fruit to take home, only problem was, I had cycled to the group (the first time I'd dusted the bike off in about a year) and had to wobble home with a carrier bag of fruit!
I was so inspired about my weight loss until lunch the next day, when the course I was on fed us subway sandwiches (with added cheese) and cookies and biscuits and jaffa cakes. Thursday involved Ben and Jerrys Ice cream (damn Mr T's low prices!) and today involved a buffet at work with loads of samosas and cake.

Anyway, I'm now stressing that I won't loose any weight next week and that I will fall off the wagon at week 3 :o.

I think I need a kick up the pants! Hope you are all doing better than me!

    Good evening ladies -

well done on the losses again everyone and hello to the newbies :T

Thanks for missing me :p -Takeiteazy is correct -hubby has been off all week (and next week) -and so we have been out and about -including 3 times around the golf course and we are off there again early in the morning -planning on being there by 7am ;) -so lots of exercise done -although my meal plan has been clangered as we have been out n about most lunch times so I have struggled to get my heA+Bs and syns down me... but at least I haven't been naughty :jand we are a "fairy free zone" *shhhh I don't think they have passports :p*

OOohhh I have to take a bow - I have only gone and had my induction at the blinkin Gym on camp  -So tomorrow Im off to get a decent pair of trainers and as of Tuesday I WILL be going to the gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays -next week with hubby during the day and then when he is back at work I plan to walk down to camp for about 3:30pm(an extra 30mins exercise walking that way ;)) and then work out and hubby will pick me up on his way off camp at about 5pm...can't believe I have decided to just "do it" -the machines are all very swanky and computerised and a lot have just arrived (watch me break one :rotfl:). I decided to just get a grip -I can cope with working amongst a bunch of squaddies and its FREE "very mse" :D .....so I may as well take advantage before we move back to the UK and have to pay :T
on top of that -next week Im hubby is bringing his bike home so I can have a go and decide if Im having my own ..... I swear I don't know what has come over me but I really really want to exercise

MyRed meal plan today has been:-
    • banana
    • peach
    • plums
    • southern fried fridge raiders (4) -grabbed them in the naafi as it was lunch time -so that took the edge off :pand they were rather nice
    • peaches
    • plums
    • huge salad
    • steak
    • 198g potatoes (B) -wedged with :-
    • 1/4tsp oil (0.5)
    • 250ml semi (Ax2)
    • 2tsp camp (1)
    • 1 fibre plus bar (B)
    • activia lemon (2.5)
so thats my A+Bs and 8 syns accounted for ..
right -I had better get off and get my yogurt..
Have a lovely weekend everyone :D

Been fruit picking again, humungus bag this time.

    B - weetabix milk [a] coffee

L - left over curry [mostly sauce], pasta, added more veg [cauli, broc, carrot, onion] think I counted more than enough syns yesterday but adding 5 just to be on safe side.

T - sw chips, oil spray [2], toms, s/cream [.5] then pineapple, melon, wild plums + muller & meringue crumbled on top [2.5]

    Snacks - fibre plus

    Syns - 10

I have half a tub of quark, will that be enough for the roulade? I would just have ff fromage in the middle and use muller as topping [like custard] how does that sound? If not will have to get some more quark.
My book says meringues are 3syns but double checked online and they are 2.5. Hubby can't believe they are that low as he says they are very sweet and grainy [like too much sugar in them]. I'm going with sw though lol.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    How brill Ms M :D

I really miss the gym :( I was always one of them God never the gym its not me, but i went and i loved it. Sadly had to cancel cos of my hand injury, i couldnt even do power plate or aqua aerobics :( too painful . I loved the machines though, quite happily row 5 or 10 miles and love the sense of achievement you get with seeing how far youve gone or how many miles youve cycled. I never really stayed that long but maybe an hour on equipment and a class or just a class and swim or something.

    I really miss it :(
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

    .
Ive only ever used sweetened/flavoured quark as the filling....but I guess from frais would be ok (might be a little too runny tho for when you're rolling it?)

Im wondering whether the things you've been picking off the trees are just the standard british plums that are in season at the mo? ive been buying them at asda...bigger than a big cherry but similar shape and stalk and various colours from green to purples. some are quite sweet others more tart but mostly the stones come away easily......very very lovely!!!
  • I've just had the last bit of roulade from yesterday, tbh it wasn't that nice today, think it's better eaten on the day it's made, imo.

    Meal plan for today:

B - 28g honey nut shredded wheat (HEB), banana, strawbs & mullerlight
L - baked spud with half a tin of spaghetti in tomato sauce followed by an apple & 4 apricots
Mid -afternoon - HM spicy lentil & veg soup followed by a pear
D - salmon/onion/quark/black pepper loaded potato skins followed by a slice of strawberry roulade

Too full to have anything else at the mo :o I need to look at my HEA again & see what I can count. Also a bit of HEB still required. Maybe some crackers & cheese later??

I'm contemplating having wine tonight  Tis Friday & I'm almost zero syns so far & there is a lovely bottle of Sauvignon Blanc chilling in the fridge ... ;):D

sounds like the same thing, the yellow ones are quite big and sweet, the ones that are a mix of red/green are bit sour & the dark purple are just delish. Best of all they are free :D
